Nora's POV

I Clutch Niall closer to me as Sophia whips the tied man yet again. "This is terrible, I wanna go Niall please" I whisper.

"I am sorry baby" he repeats the words he has been saying from the last 1 hour.

This man, Bartholomeo, has some issues with Sophia. He I don't know is a traitor of her I think. As described by her, he pretended to be her best friend and worked for the witch Sophia despised and now she has him. And he is getting whipped.

"Fuck" I groan.

"Well thank God you're language memory is back" he chuckles and I step on his foot.

"Niall" I whisper/yell. "He is getting whipped and you are laughing" I scold.

"Sweetie" he chuckles. "You don't know how funny it is, a girl who remembers her life from 18th century knows all the slang and swear words of 2014" he hugs me closer.

"What can I do?" I shrug. "It's coming back in bits, isn't it?" I ask and Niall frowns. "What?" I ask.

He just shakes his head.

"Nora" Sophia calls through clenched teeth and I stand straight, my throat dries and I dread for her what's to come next.

Before you start judging, she is an old and powerful witch from 1100's. She owns Niall, Miguel and Sydney. Sydney is Niall's younger younger sister, I have met her, she is a very nice girl. Niall, Miguel and Sydney were imprisoned by witches of 1500's and Sophia bought them from those witches by some "special" price. Now Sydney, Niall and Miguel are belonged to Sophia and they must be loyal to her or they will face the consequences. Now that I live here and I used to have a "relationship" with Niall, I too have to listen to her and stay loyal. Well, that's what Niall tells me.

"Y-yeah?" I stutter looking at Sophia while Niall stiffens beside me and his grip on me tightens.

"Come over here young woman" she orders and I quickly obey, walking over to her side and standing with her.

"Whip the life out of him" she orders and my blood runs cold. What. The. Fuck? "And by the time I am here, I want all the skin gone of his back gone" she checks the big wall clock on the opposite wall. "And that shall be 10 minutes. So I suggest you work fast, better" she gives me a dismissive nod and walks out of the cell, nodding and muttering 'Niall' to Niall as he mirrors her nod.

"Come on babe" Niall speaks up. "Be strong and get it over with." He smiles.

"N-no" I stutter. "I c-can't do this" I shake my head.

"You have done worse than this Nora" Niall almost shouts.

"But I don't want to now" my voice is still above a whisper.

"Do it or you will face the consequences of rebelling against Sophia's orders" he orders. "And I do not want you getting hurt" the blonde Irish man pleads.

"I-" I am cut off when the chained man speaks up.

"Lady Nora" he breaths and my head snaps in his direction.

The man's already red hair are damp from sweat as whole body sweats and bleeds.

"The King Niklaus is looking for you." He pants. What? Who is Niklaus? "You should get to him as soon as possible he is worried abou-" the man is cut off by a swift movement and when I finally process the scene I realise that Niall has snapped the guy's neck and now he is coming towards me.
