Chapter 42:Shocked And Hurt. (Last Chapter)

Nora's POV

I couldn't believe the sight before me. I stood with my eyes wide and mouth agape. Klaus looked at me with equally opened mouth and I finally moved my frozen body and took few steps back.

"Nora" Klaus said extending his hand to me. I shook my head and kept going back, I came to a stop when my back was against Kol's chest so I couldn't move further.

"Nora baby you okay?" I could almost hear the smile in Kol's voice and I wanted to punch him for it. He tried to touch me but I swatted his hand off, moving away from him.

"No, I- don't- no- I can't I" meaningless words were rolling off my tongue and my vision was becoming watery. I shook my head frantically before dashing off in Vampire speed.

I ran as fast as my legs could take me and never looked back. I did not know where I was going but my legs were running so I let them take control of my body. I ran for minutes and then my legs came to a stop.

I found myself in front of a big mansion. Salvatore mansion. The perfect place. My throat was dry and tears started streaming down my face. I walked to the front door and knocked.

I was about to knock again when the door opened. A brunette boy whose hair looked awfully alike mine opened the door. Stefan. He was holding a girl about 8 or so in his left arm and she was settled on his hip.

"Nora" he said, a smile founding its way on his face. The girl also smiled.

"Sister Nora" she smiled. Sister Nora? I don't remember her.

"Nora?" Another curios voice came.

"Damon" the name rolled off my tongue as I looked up at him behind Stefan. Tears filled my eyes and started streaming down my face.

"Are you okay?" Stefan handed the girl to Damon and took a step towards me. I sobbed and launched my body on his for a bone crashing hug.

"Stefan" I cried in his shoulder and my body shook violently.

"What happened baby is everything okay?" He asked, worry coating his words.

I shook my head frantically. "N-no, its-its" I was screaming in his shoulder now.

"Come on in" Stefan said as he pulled me in.

"Laura go to your room and finish you homework okay?" Damon instructed the girl as he put her down. "Good girl" he smiled when she nodded and ran into her room. I never once listened to him in such an easy way.

"Come here" Damon said as he pulled me out of Stefan's arms and enveloped me in his. Something about Damon always made my heart warm and strong but in my sad times, he was the one I broke down in front of the most. "Sh its okay" he rubbed my back with his hand. "What happened Missy?" He asked.

"He-Damon" I sobbed and swallowed the fat lump in my throat. "He, I-he, Damon he" I started crying again.

"Its okay, we can talk later" he pulled back and smiled. I nodded. "Stefan get her some cold water" he instructed and Stefan nodded, dashing in the kitchen.

He put his arm on my shoulder and started walking. "You don't have to be uneasy you know, you can stay as long as you please and we also heard that you lost your memory so you don't have to explain that" his face frowned.

"Okay" I slightly smiled, trying to ignore the agonising fire in my chest.

"Here" Stefan said as we sat down.
