Can I have an eternal fall,
one where chill days and
warm nights happen?
Where the colors are vibrant forever
with Death held at bay.
Can I have
s'mores round smokes fires and
the constant crunch of leaves underfoot?
Is it too
much to ask for pumpkin
pies and jack'o lanterns
that glow once the sun is down and
the cold chill of a winter
that will never come?
