I never understood
why you told us to rebel.
To be wild within our minds
and complacent in our bodies.
How hypocritical of you
to show us the way
only to lock down our flesh
with rules and regulations.
Don't you know where we are from?
We come from the—
Rebel, from the—
Pariah, from the—
Poor, from the—
Death, from the–
Life, from the—
bodies and wills of those who fought rules
and broke Law's grips.
Oh you hypocrites,
who tell us to break down all convention
while locking us in restriction.//For background, I go to a school where our mascot is the Rebels. It's also an all-girls private school where we have basically everything put into rules and we need to abide by said rules or pay the cost. It's very hypocritical in my opinion to call us Rebels but then prohibit all ability to do so. But I digress.//
