My so called easy life

Hell... I Mean Home

Welcome to the first chapter, sorry if this book is bad, started it at a younger age.

                                                                           Chapter one

When I get home Martha(my mom) is laying on Charlie's(my dad) lap. 

"Antoinette! Room!" Martha yells.

"Gee! Love you too!" I pause, "Aiden home?" I ask, referring to my twin brother.

"Go find out!" Charlie yells.

I run upstairs and go to mine and Aiden's room. We have 2 queen sizes on both sides, 2 dressers, a desk with a spinning chair, 2 bean bags and a big walk in closet with a bathroom attached. Make sense? Aiden is sitting on a bean bag.

"Hey, work?" He asks.

"Nope, at 6," I go over and sit by him,

"Where were you?" He puts an arm around my shoulder and I put an arm across his stomach and smile,

"Alex's."

"Really? Charlie and Matha let you??" He asks,

 I shrug off the question and sigh, "Kaiden, Bryce, and
Adam?" I ask for the current location of my 3 younger siblings.

"Kaiden and Bryce are in their room, Adam is at his ball practice."

"Antoinette?!" I hear Kaiden call, I let go of Aiden and stand.

I walk down the hall to Bryce's and Kaiden's room,

"Yeah?" I ask.

Bryce is crying, he has a bruise on his cheek.

"What happened?" I go over a hold him, after sitting on their bed.

"Dad." Is all he says.

Kaiden has glossy eyes and is fidgeting with her hands.

"Kaiden, how bout you go and sit with Aiden?" She nods and leaves the room.

I lay down with Bryce in my arms and just let him cry.

"He hit me." Bryce says after a little while.

"Why?" We sit up and I wipe his tears,

"I was two minutes late..."

"I'll talk to him."

"K. Love you... Thank you." Bryce says.

"Love you too, no problem little dude." I kiss his forehead then ruffle his hair and get up while letting go and walking back to the room. let go and walk back to my room; finding Kaiden had fallen asleep on Aiden's lap.

He silently gets up and walks her to her room but quickly returns, "What happened?" He asks, curious as to why Bryce was crying, which is a rare seen for us.

"Charlie fucking hit Bryce... Because he was 2 minutes late." I say clenching my fists.

"You gonna talk to him?" He asks getting mad himself. Not the first time that Charlie that has beat us, probably not the last, but Aiden and I prevented it as much as possible, if we couldn't, we managed to get him back.

"Yup." I walk past him an downstairs knowing that Aiden is right behind me.

"Charlie!" I yell. Aiden stands and stays behind me.

"What the fuck you want?!" Charlie yells staggering  to the walkway.

"Why'd you hit Bryce?" I ask, anger clear in my tone.
