"Yes. But that is another story for another time." I said with a stone cold glare, my words clean,cold and sharp.
This is not a choice but I mustn't let them think this is a game. Or we might as well already be dead.
"And also there is a possibility that there are other fledglings such as you too-"pointing to Jenna and Sydney. "-but not many. Ten at the most. See you are the only that survived but there are some made from The Guide themselves," I ended.
"Wait fledglings? The Guide?" Sydney asked.
It was Annabel's turn to explain as she was sensing my annoyance with the question about myself still roaming the air.
"Yeah you guys are fledglings because you weren't brought up in this...whatever this is. And The Guide are the people in higher power. They have been alive for generations." She stated very proud of who she was.
"Then what are you called?" Jenna asked.
"I am called a Ryker or Rycan. That's only because my element is water. Ryker was the name given to the decedents of the first people to live among the dragons. It is said that five girls will rise up and defeat the evils lurking and make this world safe for all species. But of course there is a rebellion. It is said that one girl will betray The Order and The Guide but not one of the five at least not a real one." Jenna seemed to stiffen at this but shrugged it off. I guess the tension is getting to her.
"And I am what is known as The Essential. Some elementals have been said to control more than one element but never more than two. They are known as essentials. Me controlling all four allows me to be known as The Essential." My voice boomed again bouncing off walls. Even I'm a little intimidated. By myself at that!
"Now the question I have been dying to ask. WHY THE CHEDDAR CHEESE POP FUDGING CORN WAS I FLIPPING KIDNAPPED BY A FRICKEN HOT PHYSCO!! Sydney screeched. I felt my eye twitch.
"Well you heard what we said. The rebels would love to get their hands on us. The thing is we aren't just jumping from home to home on purpose. We have to. It's almost time to return to West Violet. Now enough with the questions let's start walking again the rain cleared." Annabel said yawning.
"But-" Sydney started.
"Ah!" Annabel said.
"I-."
"Ooooh"
"Anna-"
"Girl ya shining like a fifth avenue diamond-"
"Look just-"
"And I was like baby baby baby-"
"Shut up." I said bitterly and everyone's eyes turned to me.
"Look there's one thing you all don't know. You all have the capability to learn to control other elements that is the reason we need to go to West Violet. Training purposes." They were about to speak but I started before they could.
"Now let's go."

We have been walking for a couple hours now and finally spotted a town. We should find one of those free motels. I telepathically told them all.
Thats another one of my gifts. Annabel can do it too, even Sydney. Just not Jenna.
"You mean a homeless shelter?" Annabel responded. Haha
I watched them nod. We needed to get back to New York though. That's were all our stuff is. We walked in and I thought I was going to faint. There he was. Our kidnapper.
