Chapter 10
I currently sat in one of the guest rooms in the back up pack house. It's pretty ironic that they even have one of these. I mean it's not everyday your pack house is burned to the ground. The alpha said he would have a meeting tomorrow with everyone and that we should just have a good nights rest until then.
Everyone was pretty shaken up about it so I guess sleeping it off would help everyone relax but he seemed like he knew something we didn't. Either that or I'm just paranoid. Regardless, here I sat in a blue room with a white closet door, a white door, and a white dresser. The bed was baby blue where as the walls were dark blue. I sat Indian style with my black hair out and wavy going down to my chest, stopping right under it.
I wore a black tang top and my favorite Mickey Mouse pajama pants. I was just sitting on the bed looking at the wall thinking about if I should tell the others or just save Sydney and take whatever awaits when I get there. They will probably try to kill me but what I don't get is why they told me not to bring weapons. I mean...did they forget I can control the elements. Even putting me in a metal room I can till control the air.
Sigh
"Knock knock." Said a deep voice from outside.
"Your supposed to actually knock, not say knock ya know." I deadpanned.
"So can I come in or are you naked? Actually if you are naked I'll probably just want to come in more." He said. I could basically hear the smirk in his voice.
"What do you want." I said sighing.
"Take that as a yes." Grey said while walking in. He took a look at me and sighed. He sat next to me and wiped a tear that was sliding down my cheek. I hadn't even realized I was crying. I probably wouldn't know what crying feels like, I've never done it before. Christina said when I was a baby I would always stay quiet, sometimes I would just lay with the strangest look on my face. As if I was thinking.
"You know you have to tell them." He said in a whisper. I looked up at him. His mixture of red and blue eyes staring intently at me. His black hair rustled. I noticed some stubble around his face. I poked his chin.
"You need to shave."
"Don't change the subject, NightWalker. Are you going to tell them about the note?" He asked.
"No, I can't, they will never let me. I can't let there emotions cloud my judgment, as they will do with their's." I said
"Maybe it won't cloud it. Sometimes it will clear things up for you." He told me. "Think about it, without feelings you will never know when to give up."
"And with emotions you get scared. You get scared and you give up without a fight." I said standing up. He laid down on my bed. Putting his hands behind his head. He had a white V-Neck and spider man boxers on.
"Nice undies Spidy." I said while pointing to his boxers.
"Nice pants Mickey, and I'm pretty sure your pointing at something else." He said winking.
"Perv." I spat.
"Yet your the one lookin' at my 'mini me'. He deadpanned.
"If that's what you wanna believe." I said scoffing.
"Back to the real issue. Your telling them." He stated.
"Yeah and then we can go ride a magic talking turtle that flies all the way back to Glitter-and-Sparkle-landia." I said sarcastically."
"What's with you and turtles?" He muttered. "Don't answer that. But if you tell them then maybe we can do this in a way where you don't die."
"So you care if I die."
