Christinanna Skyler NightWalker
Setting- Birthday, August 3rd 2012
Ok so I lied to them. I didn't grow up in Climaria, and I wasn't trained from birth. It was my birthday that's when it all happened.
"If you don't wake up right now, Christianna I swear I will cut off your arm and put it so far up your-"
"I'm up!" I screamed and glared at my brother. "That's not very nice." I pouted.
"It's you birthday. That means your older, not I'm going start being nice to you. We should go to Narnia." He said while running a hand through his dark brown hair.
"Why Narnia?" I asked, and I honestly wanted to know. He was about to say something but then shut his mouth and gave me a confused look.
"Whatever. Why did you go to sleep with your glasses on? They would've been broken if not for your lovely and dashing brother." He said cockily smirking, completely ignoring the fact I asked a question.
I snatched my glasses and mumbled a 'thanks'. You'd think turning 16 would mean something to you family. I mean I haven't really changed over the years. I'm still nerdy and quirky but jeez. I wonder when I'm going to get over this faze. I am terribly uncoordinated, scared of heights, and other then my brother I can't speak straight around boys.
I wonder if my sister was here. See I'm the youngest in my family, and also the weirdest. I would think that I was adopted if it hadn't been for our uncanny resemblance. My brother was 19 and wanted to become either an artist or musician. My sister was 22 and was aspiring to become a lawyer. She danced and could sing. My brother had chocolate brown eyes and dark brown hair, that turned black when wet, like our father, whereas my sister has black hair and crystal blue eyes, in resemblance to our mother.
Crazy enough my hair and eyes change according to the weather. I hated the winter because of this. I just didn't like the look of coldness. I also don't believe how this is scientifically possible. Always forget about magic, I only use my powers when...well never unless I'm forced. I just tell people I wear contacts and die my hair during those times, it's not like anyone would believe otherwise. Our features were all the same, we looked like triplets.
I'm the odd ball in the family. My parents are outgoing, and super smart. Not to mention athletic, and creative. My brother and sister take after them, but me? I'm clumsy, too shy to sing, and to afraid to play a sport.
"Oh! I almost forgot! I'm getting my braces taken off today! Are mom and dad letting me go!? Is that why you woke me? Is El here yet? Did that pimple cream work last night? Is my last pimple gone!? WHY AREN'T YOU ANSWERING-"
I would've continued my 'interrogation', however my brother covered my mouth and told me to calm down.
"I'm going to let go on the count of three ok? Your going to speak at a normal speed, and I'm going to answer your questions. Do you understand?" He asked slowly as if to make sure I'm following. I rolled my eyes at this, I'm not slow just impatient. I nodded as he slowly lifted his hands from my mouth.
"Is El here yet?"
"Yuppers that's why I woke up now go get ready kid." He said flicking my nose and I stuck my tongue out at him. He simply chuckled and went to the door.
