Chapter 11 - Getting in trouble?

I looked into the mirror as I slipped on some black leggings and a white and gold crop top. I brushed my hair up into a messy bun and just applied mascara on my eyelashes. I looked at myself clearly in the mirror and nodded my head in satisfaction. I grabbed my phone while putting on my shoes and looking at the time.

It was already 7:40am so that means that I have at least 10 minutes before heading to school. I grabbed my backpack off the hook then went downstairs. I grabbed a banana from the kitchen and took my keys from the hook and went outside. I got in my car and drove off.

As I was driving I stopped at a red light and took the time to open my banana. As I was eating it, I saw a few people staring at me, as if they were waiting for me to do something. Gosh people are so perverted. As the light turned green I flicked them off and drove away.

Once I made it at school, I couldn't find a park at all. As I drove around the parking lot for a couple minutes, but it felt like hours, I finally found a park in the back. I got out the car and grabbed my things before walking to the entrance. I know I was late, but I really didn't care right now.

I went to the main office and grabbed my late slip then walked off to my first period class. As I reached the door I could smell the scent of my mates. Oh my god, this is going to be a tough day. I opened the door and saw everyone's eyes go on me. "What?!" I yelled at them and they kept on staring and this was annoying.

"Katie, can you explain to the class, why you were late?" Walter spoke. "No, I will no..., wait yes I would like to explain," I cleared my throat and looked at him smirking then looked back at the class. "Well I was late because of you stupid ass wipes, making fucked up parkings making it hard to find a parking spot!!"

"Katie, you get detention after school for using words that are inappropriate," Walter said. "Ugh!! Whatever Walt-", "It's Mr. Ivy," he cut me off. I rolled my eyes and walked to the back of the class where the window was and sat in the seat. I still felt someone's eyes on me and it was annoying as fuck. I looked up to meet eyes with Walter.

"Everyone, take out your reading books and read Act 3 of Romeo and Juliet," Walter said not taking eyes off of me. I broke eye contact and took my book out of my backpack and out it in front of me so I don't have to look at him or he can't look at me. I wasn't really reading the book, because I was on my phone playing minecraft.

I was hitting a pig trying to get food until I was attacked as turned around to see a green monster and I screamed and dropped my phone, which made my book fall too. Everyone looked at me again and looked at my phone then at Walter. "Katie can you bring your phone up here and tell the whole class what you were doing," Walter said.

"Uhm, I rather not," I felt my cheeks slightly heat up, knowing if I go up to the class and tell them, they would think it's funny. "No, come share with us, or I'll take your phone away," gosh even if he is my mate, he's still annoying. I sighed and got up going to the front.

"I screamed because I was playing minecraft, and when I was killing a pig, I was getting attacked and when I turned around, it was the most ugliest, and scariest thing I have ever saw, so I screamed," the class starting laughing, even Walter. "JUST LIKE TOM!!," someone screamed out and that made me laugh right there.

Tom was the most stinkiest kid in the class and he was ugly and all Tom did was laugh too. I swear that kid needs help, if he's just going to laugh at hisself. "Alex!! Apologize to Tom," Water said. "Why? He was laughing at himself too," Alex said. "Well you get detention after school as well," Walter said.

"Fine with me," Alex said, and I was sorta happy because I wouldn't have to stay by myself. I walked back over to my seat and started to read the book instead of play with my phone since I already got killed in minecraft. As I was reading I felt someone put something on my desk, and it was a note.

I looked to see who gave it to me and it was Alex. I opened it and it said:

After school....

•TURN UP?

or

•NAHH?

I laughed at the note and circled, turn up and passed it back to him. When he saw it, he put his thumbs up and I laughed. I heard the bell ring and I started to put my stuff up and saw that I was the last to leave. As I was heading towards the door, Walter grabbed me gently by my wrists and pulled me back to him.

"Katie I saw you passing a note to Alex, what was that?!" he yelled as he went to close and lock the door. "It was nothing," I shrugged and went to the door. "Are you mad at me?" he asked and I tuned to look at him. "Yes, I'm mad at you, you have the decency to hug another women in front of me while I'm passed out!! What kind of mate does that?" I screamed at him.

"Please Katie, she was just asking for a place to stay since her mate doesn't want to be involved with h-" I cut him off by laughing. "And you let her stay, you're so pathetic," I unlocked the door but I got pulled back. "Look I'm going to be late for class, so if you want me, you have to earn it, I'm not just going to come to you like that," I said while it snapped my fingers.

"And I will earn you Katie, and I will not give up, and after all, you're wearing my mark," he said and I playfully slapped his arm. "Well I gotta go so see ya," I ran out the door and skipped off to class, wanting it to be after school already.
