Katie's POV

I was walking through a forest and saw a child by herself. She was laying down by a lake. I was walking towards her when she jumped up. I looked at her body to see cuts and bruises. I then focused my attention on her face.....she..she looked exactly like a little me.

I took a few steps back and closed my eyes, as I tried to contact my wolf, but she wasn't responding. I opened my eyes again to see I was in an abandoned room. How did I get here?!!? I looked around to see little me chained up to a wall, while tears fell down her face.

I wanted to walk towards her and comfort little me but I couldn't. It was like a force was stopping me from moving closer. I heard a door open, and a huge muscular man came in. He had a belt in his hand, and in the other he had some kind of injection.

I started to panic. He was going to hurt little me. I tried screaming but nothing came out. This was torture!! I closed my eyes and heard screaming that lasted to seem like hours, until I didn't hear anything.

I didn't want to open my eyes. No. I couldn't open my eyes. It would hurt me bad if I dare see little me abused even more. I felt my shoulder being tapped, but I still didn't open my eyes to see who it was.

"Open your eyes please!! I have important news to tell you before he comes back in!" I opened my eyes and saw little me standing in front of me with open cuts on her face and bruises on her bare body.

"Listen, and listen carefully ok?" I nodded my head and she continued, "I'm your daughter from the future, and the abuser was my dad, you were kidnapped by the guy that just came in. It's really a long story, but remember this, Don't reject him, love him and I can't tell you who he is yet, but it's a mystery you're supposed to find on your own," she said out of breath.

"Don't reject who?" I said quickly trying to process everything in. "You'll find out, but it's time for me to go, I'll see you later on mommy," she said kissing my forehead. Her body was disappearing into the darkness.

I woke up with sweat dripping from my face. I was breathing hard from the dream that seemed so real. I closed my eyes and tried to remember everything that she had said. 'I'm your daughter','don't reject him, love him', 'It's a mystery'.

Why is everything a mystery? First, my parents whispering. Then the note at school. And now this!! I closed my eyes in frustration and thought over this.

"Singing Radiohead at the top of our lungs
With the boom box blaring as we're falling in love
Got a bottle of whatever, but it's getting us drunk
Singing here's to never growing up," I chuckled at the ringtone that Jenna picked.

"Hello?" I answered, "Don't 'hello' me, where the hell are you?!" Jenna yelled through the phone. "Jenna it's a Saturday, it must be your time of the month," I spoke so casual. "You're late for cheerleading practice, and no it's not my time of the month!" I chuckled at how mad she was.

"I'll be there ok, bye," I hurried and hung up the phone before I could hear anymore of her nagging. I stepped out of bed and walked to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth and took a quick shower. Once I was done, I stepped out the bathroom and into my closet.

I put on comfortable shorts with a sports bra, and a sweater while I threw some lotion on my legs. I looked in the mirror and put my hair in a messy yet neat bun and was satisfied with myself. I grabbed my phone and walked out of my room and downstairs to the kitchen. I looked around and saw a note on the counter. I grabbed the note and an apple and sat down in a chair.
