'Where were you?' A very calm mom in a fluffy pink robe stood in front me. To be honest, this side of her was far more scarier then when she was actually angry. Simply because I just don't know what to expect.

'I was at Dylan's match. I thought Rob would've told you.' I explained, trying to remain stoic.

'Rob didn't have to tell me because Rob isn't my daughter. He doesn't have to let me know where he is. You, on the other hand, do, young lady. She explained, her arms crossed over her chest. 'And don't think you're going out anytime soon.' She said, then walked away.

Great. I was actually warming up to the idea of a party. Now I legitimately had an excuse to not go out tonight. Huffing and puffing, I made my way upstairs to my room. Opening the door, I realised Willow was over by my wardrobe. 'What are you doing in my room? Get out!'

'I was just looking for a cute dress to wear for the party tonight.' She strutted, trying on my sky blue plaid dress, before shaking her head in disgust.

'Wait, you mean the football after party? You're going?' I asked in disbelief.

'Yeah well some jocks in my year just invited me, and I have nothing better to do.' She shrugged.

'But-but how? How are you allowed?' I spluttered, pacing the room.

'Well I'm actually going to ask mom and tell her where I'm going.' She accentuated sarcastically.

'Wow. Well, have fun. To celebrate the winning of the match that I JUST WATCHED.' I rolled my eyes at her.

'Thanks! I'll say hi to Dylan and all your friends for you. By the way, you really don't have anything nice to wear.' She scoured before exiting the room.

Not caring about all the clothes and shoes that had been strewn across my room, I threw myself on my bed and looked up at the ceiling. I remember on my twelfth birthday being so afraid of the dark and the monsters that lurked in it, that I insisted on having glow in the dark stickers being put on the ceiling. Of course, I was too old for a nightlight, so I had to settle for a galaxy themed sticker layout, which turned out pretty assuring in the darkest of nights when I couldn't get to sleep. Sitting up, I took my phone out of my pocket, and started to text Mandy, telling her of the unfortunate incidence.

Throwing myself back on the bed, I actually started to contemplate the whole situation and what would happen of it. After what felt like ten minutes of weighing out the pros and the cons, I finally made my mind up.
