Chapter 9: A magical moment
**1 week later**
I paced back and forth, anxiously.
This was getting out of hand!
I knew I needed to stop this before it got too far and people got hurt.
I should have never said yes. I was in doubt and that was enough to know it wouldn't be right.
I ran a hand through my hair and knew my decision was made.
I would have to end this right now.
My eyes fell upon my Sidekick 08 and I flew over the bed, jumped once and then grabbing my phone, I jumped and fell down back onto my bed.
I was such a jerk.
I mean who does this sort of thing over the phone.
That's right. I do.
I took a few minutes to regain my breath and then I dialed the number.
789-153-4378 (A/N not a real number so don't try it (^_^))
It rang once, and then twice.
A third time and then a fourth, and finally on the fifth ring someone picked up.
"Hello?" An out of breath voice answered on the other end.
Immediately I felt nervous.
It was wrong, what I was about to do, but it felt so right.
Ugh I just confused myself.
As the thought omitted from my mind, the wind blew my curtains gently and cold air once again blew around me gently, as if telling me it's okay.
I calmed down enough to breathe out my next sentence.
"Um, Hi Jason, it's Lexi" I fiddled nervously with a strand of hair.
And the nerves had returned.
"Lexi! Um, what can I do for you" He sounded nervous.
Not the, 'Holy Crap I just made a fool of myself in front of the girl I like"
Nope, it was more like the 'Crap, I'm gonna be in deep shit if she finds out"
Immediately I was curious.
What was Jason hiding that made him so sure I was gonna be mad at him?
I brushed those thoughts away; I could dwell on them later.
I had bigger things to do. Well more like say.
But before I could say anything I heard something.
No. Not Something.
Someone, it was a woman.
"Babe, who is that?"
