Do I like him?

Aphmau POV:
Last week it was really fun, Tavari is a good friend, but I don't know what he has in mind... maybe he wants to turn something into another thing? I'll ask him when it's the time. Today I won't go to his cave, I will relax in my room and maybe go to the library later "Hey Aph, can we talk?" I say "Sure Katelyn, what's up?" she says "Teony informed me about you going out almost all the time from the kingdom. Why?" I say "I like to explore" she asks "Aph, is there something you hide??" I say "No, I told you everything. I don't have secrets." I give her a warm smile "Ok" she swims away. I close my door and take out the book about humans to study. Tavari is a nice guy, he got this book just for me and let me take it home, sometimes he appears in my mind, I know what love is and I think I like him, i'm not sure. I get lost in his green eyes... sometimes I want to play with... his soft dark green hair, his smile makes me blush a little. I don't think he likes me back... but it's ok, at least I am his friend "If Tavari is happy, i'm happy too." I keep studying.

Tavari POV:
I swim around to get ingredients for 2 potions, for me and Aphmau, she told me that she wants to know how is it to be a human, I'll go with her to the sky, I will make a potion for Zane too, but I will turn him into a merman "Tavari!" I see Zane "I found 2 graves." I look at him confused "There is no graveyard." he says "Follow me and I'll show you." I shrug and follow him. I see 2 graves, he was right, I look closer "They were parents." he says "They are Aphmau's parents." my eyes widen "Her parents are dead? She didn't tell me..." I feel so bad for her... "Maybe I should give her something." he asks "Why do you care so much about her??" I say "She is my only friend, she cares about me, I care about her." Zane says "Pearl necklace? Mermaids like jewelry." I say "That's a great idea!" I swim to find seashells "I need 20 pearls." I look around. I find a place with seashells, I collect pearls "I need a string." Zane says "I have one." he gives it to me "Thanks!" I make the pearl necklace "Now I need to find her to give it to her." he says "Aph is at her home in Mariana. What if you will get caught?" I smirk "No one will see me."

Aphmau POV:
After I finish half of the book, I hide it again and go for a swim, but from the corner of my eye, I see someone at the other part of the barrier... I get my sea crystal and go through it "Tavari?" he says "I came to give you something." I look at his hand, he puts a necklace on my neck "A pearl necklace? Thanks!" I hug him "So, this is Mariana?" I nod "I can show you around, but you will be caught." he smiles "I can disguise." his eyes look at my arm "A star...?" he saw my mark "I um... tried to... get through the barrier without a sea crystal and... I got electrocuted." he yells "WHAT!!" I say "I just wanted to explore!! Luckily, I didn't die!" he asks "The mark hurts? Does it sting?" I say "No, it doesn't." he touches it "It looks beautiful on you." I blush "Thanks" I take his hand and try to get both of us through the barrier. I lose some of my energy "Are you ok?" I say "Yeah, I used some of my energy. This is the first time I did this. Now, to show you around~!" I show him all of kingdom and show him Teony's room and Katelyn's room "This is my room." he looks around "I see you like purple. I see a bit of blue and green." I say "It's my favorite color." I hear his stomach growling "I have food" I take out a box and open it. After we eat, we go at the barrier "Thanks for coming" he smiles "Thanks for showing me around. This is a cool place." I say "Can I stay over? I might be weak after I do this again." he says "Sure" I get us through again, I almost fall "Aphmau!" he holds me "I... i'm fine" he says "You're not fine" he is holding me while he swims "They will question you about you being missing in the nights." I say "I don't really care about that. I'm not captured." I notice his green eyes again "They're dreamy" I can't drool, we are in water "Pretty" I am dreaming "Are you ok Aphmau?" I shake my head "Yes i'm fine! I was just thinking." I laugh nervously "Ok?" we get to his house and he lays me on his bed "Rest" he covers me with blanket.

Tavari POV:
I leave the room, then go to the secret one, I look at Lucinda and smile, but I don't feel happy like last time "Why do I feel different?? My feelings for her are gone?" they are gone... I think... I think I love Aphmau... she is my only friend, she cares about me... "I'll take her back home." I fill the coffin with a potion to wake her up, then I drag the coffin all the way to the dock and put it there "I hope you'll be happy Lucinda, you are back home." I swim back to my cave "I did the right choice." the bed is empty "Aph?" I look around for her "Is she in the room??" I swim there, she is... with her arms crossed "Why didn't you tell me? Zane told me everything." I say "I guess I have to explain." I tell Aphmau from the start "When did you find out about Lucinda??" she says "When you were dragging the coffin, I saw her." I sigh "I'm sorry I didn't tell you. I didn't want to lose my only friend." she hugs me "You'll never lose me. Why did you gave up?" I look down "My feelings for her are gone... I love someone else..." I look at her, she blushes "We've known each other from a long time and... you really care about me." she says "To be honest, I like you too. Your eyes are so dreamy and your hair look soft... I just want to play with it..." I blush "You are my first merman friend, you've taught me many things I didn't know..." I take her hand "Your caramel eyes are very beautiful. Sometimes I want to weave your hair." she giggles "So... I guess we are dating??" I say "I guess we are... I'll never hide anything from you again, I promise." she smiles "I'm glad Tavari." I say "I just remembered one thing. I... saw the graves of your real parents." I smile nervously "I wanted to take you to them, but you saw already." I say "I felt so bad and I made the necklace." I get pinned on the floor "MMMF!!" she is kissing me "That was a great kiss, it was my first kiss." she says "Mine too" she hugs me tight "You gave up? What about the promise?" I say "The potion is on the table Zane." he leaves "What Zane wanted?" I say "To be the biggest crab, but I made him something else." we hear a glass breaking "AHHHHH!!" we look at each other "I made another transformation. The one for Lucinda I will keep it if someone would want to be a mermaid. I got my own crystal." I lock the door "TAVARI!!!!" I yell "Trust me Zane, it's better this way!!" he hits the door, after a minute he stops "I am leaving!" Aphmau says "I hope he will accept being a merman." I say "Same"
