Giving birth to the twins

Tavari POV:
She is giving birth! She is giving birth TODAY! I thought it'll happen in TWO weeks, not today! She screamed and I swam as fast as I was able to with her in my arms. Now she is in the surgery room, it's been a few hours, no update of her, i'm so worried "We are here!" I see Katelyn and Teony "Any news??" I slowly shake my head "So many hours and no update of her." Katelyn sighs "I can't believe it passed so fast." they sit next to me. I look at the floor "Please... please be ok... don't die and leave us..."

*one hour later*
"Tavari, wake up!" I open my eyes "It's time! We can finally see Aph!!" I swim fast to her room "Wait for us!!" I don't wait for them. The nurse stops me "Be quiet sir, she is resting." I slowly open the door... I see her holding 2 blankets "Aphmau..." she smiles "Hi..." I slowly swim towards her "Meet our babies..." I look at them "Aren't they precious?" I smile "They are..." I feel tears "Tavari are you crying...?" I say "No, the salt is in my eyes." Katelyn says "He cries for sure." I wipe them "Any ideas for two names?" I say "Oh, I forgot about that honestly." I think for a moment "How about Alya and Tyson??" Teony smiles "I like them." Aph gasps "Great names! Perfect for them!" I hear yawns "Who yawned?" I say "Not me, neither Aph." I look at the babies. They opened their eyes "Aww... they have green eyes like their daddy." I smile "And... black hair like their mommy." they're also lightly tanned "I can't believe i'm an aunt. Let me hold them!" Aph hands her Tyson, then Alya "Hey dears... welcome to the world." I hold Aphmau's hand "I can't believe we are parents." Aphmau says "I want to see their little tails." I say "I think you should wait a bit more. You need rest." she says "Fine..." she closes her eyes "I want to stay here." Katelyn says "Alright, we will let you be." they leave the room. I look at Aphmau how she sleeps peacefully, it reminds me of Lucinda when she was unconcious... I do not love her anymore, Aph showed the true love, the true friendship, so... many things that I didn't learn... she is sweet and smart, so cute and nice, she likes to learn, to explore, make flower crowns, I still have the bracelets. I fell in love with the perfect mermaid, I'm lucky to be her husband "Tavari?" my thoughts are interrupted by her voice "Will you sleep with me?" I say "Sure, anything for you." I get in the bed and cuddle with her "Sweet dreams Aph."

Katelyn POV:
"Who are cute babies? You are~!" they giggle "Wow, you're good with babies. Usually you are tought." I say "They're adorable! Why would I be tough with them?" I do little kisses "I wonder how their tails look like." I say "We should not be the first to check. Let's wait for Aph to wake up." I check her again. A smirk appears as I close the door "She got him to cuddle." Teony sighs "You... I don't know what to say anymore..." I grin "What can I do? She is a mother!"

*the next day*
Aphmau POV:
"I can't wait for Nana to see them! She will explode!" Tavari says "Cross your fingers for Zane to be alive." I say "Oh, I forgot about that." we get to surface "Nana!" he covers my mouth "Do you want people to hear us?" I say "Sorry" we see her running towards us "Hey!" she hugs us "How have you been? Any news?" she says "I've been good. Oh, I forgot!" she runs towards someone to help them. The man is Zane "Zane!" he slowly waves "Thank God you're ok! I thought the potion killed you." he says "You won't escape of me so easily." we laugh "What do you have there Aph?" I say "Meet Tyson and Alya." they gasp "THEY ARE ADORABLE!" Zane says "It happened yesterday?" Tavari nods "It was the best moment of my life. Well... second, the first was the wedding." he kisses my head "They sure are twins. I don't know which is which. If you had 2 boys or 2 girls, it could have been so difficult that our heads would explode in a few seconds." we laugh at his joke "Come on Zane, if you look at the tails, it would be easier." Tyson has a green tail and Alya a purple tail "What have you two been up to?" Zane says "Nana helped me walk, I work for the prince as his helper and we went on dates." I stop him "Hold on, prince's helper?" I am confused "Helping him with stuff." that is understandable "I'm sorry that I worried you that much." I say "We're happy that you're ok." he asks "How is princess Katelyn?" I say "She was sooo happy about being an aunt that didn't let go of my babies. Teony tried to stop her sometimes." he laughs "Who does not like babies anyway?" I say "No one hates them. How can they?? They are adorable!!" I kiss my babies "Did they like the nursery?" I say "Yep, they also liked the paintings we did." Nana asks "Can you make more flower crowns?" I say "Sure!" I hand Tavari the babies, then I search for flowers. I find a few, take them and make flower crowns "I hope she will like these." I swim back to the surface "Here you go Nana!" she says "Thank you so much!!" I give her the crowns "Wanna join for a swim?" she smiles "Sure!!" Nana takes off her dress, Zane looks away "Too ashamed too see your girlfriend in a swim suit? You are too shy Zane." Zane says "Shut up!!" I laugh "Come on Zane!" they get in and we swim. My life turned to be a great one: I am married, I have kids, a great family and awesome friends. I'm not asking for anything else, I love my family very much, I miss my parents... I know they are watching me from up there, they will always be in my heart, but I love them... as much as I love my family... my friends and all the people of the kingdom of Mariana and ocean.
