Aphmau POV:
I sneak to the barrier to go to Tavari, I need to learn more about potions and humans, I am about to use my crystal, but I hear a voice "Are you going out? That is the 5th time this week." I say "I am going for a swim." Katelyn crosses her arms "I don't believe you." I say "I will make flower crowns." she says "There are many in your house." I say "I'll see dolphins." she asks "Why?" I ask "Why are you here?" she says "Don't change the subject." I groan, then I get an idea "Look! A merman!" she turns her back for a second, I get through the barrier "HAHA" I swim away "Get back here!" I stick my tongue out at her while i'm swimming "That was close. I can't tell anyone about Tavari." in five minutes I arrive at his house "Tavari?" it looks empty, he is not home. He asked me to get ingredients for his potions, I went yesterday to get some from Mariana, I wonder where he is "Tavari is out, but you can read books to learn." I look at the crab "Hi Zane!" I put the bag down "You got everything Tavari asked?" he checks the bag "Yes and I got a present for him." I show him "Flower crowns? You know he does not wear crowns." I say "These are flower bracelets." I put them on a table "He wears those silver bracelets all the time, I was thinking I can make him new bracelets." he says "You have a kind heart you know that Aphmau?" I smile "Thanks, but I don't like everything, I met jerks before." he says "Nobody is perfect." I grab a book about humans and read it. Interesting information about humans, they have legs instead of a tail, they eat fish, this information is very sad, fishes are my friends, they wear clothes, we do that too, but another type "Aphmau?" I see Tavari "I'm surprised to find you here. You came to learn more?" I say "Yeah, you have a lot of books, I want to read all of them." he says "It will take you a lot of time, even years to read them." I say "I don't care, I like to learn." I grab a book with potions recipes "What are those?" he points to the bracelets "You can wear them, I made them for you." he raises an eyebrow "For me? Why?" I say "We are friends." he doesn't say a word, but he puts the bracelets on his wrists "Thanks" I give him a smile and go back at reading "I want to do this." I point to the speed potion "Simple" he shows me how to do it, I do another "I got this." he says "Before you drink it, can you get me some seaweed?" I nod. I drink the potion and swim, I start to swim really fast "It worked! Woo hoo!"

Tavari POV:
"Is it me or Aph is smarter than when we met her?" I smile "She is learning." I look at my special potion "Is that the transformation potion?" I say "It's for my love." I go in my secret room and I see the one I love "Soon my love, we'll be one. I have to activate the potion to make it work. I need something like a sea crystal." I touch the coffin "Tavari! I got the seaweed!" I swim back "How much you got?" I hear Zane "Um... she is covered in it." my eyes widen at the sight "The speed potion made me run into them." she uncovers herself "The potion lasted for 5 minutes." I take the seaweed, but I find something in it "Is this a sea crystal?" Aphmau says "That is mine." I give it to her "It is powerful to get through the barrier." I say "You are a princess right?" she says "Kinda, I am adopted." that shocked me "Oh, I didn't know. You look very happy and you like to-" she cuts me off "You don't need to explain. I have what I wanted: friends and family" she hugs me "Aph, why are you hugging me?" she giggles "It's my way to say 'thanks', i'm happy that we are friends." Zane says "Gross, I can sense love here..." I hit Zane with my tail "Ow!!" Aphmau takes my hand "Let's go swim, I know a place to hang out!" she drags me out "Where are we going??" she says "You'll see" we swim up "Wait, are we going to the sky? You got scales last time." she says "I drank a potion to protect me." she gives me a glass "I don't get scales, but I will keep it." she swims until she gets to the sky, I do the same "See that rock?" I look at what she is pointing "From there I can see crews of pirates are coming." I say "How do you know about them?? I do not remember telling you about these treasure hunters." she says "I found a book at Mariana library." she sits on a rock and looks left and right "No ship" we wait for 5 minutes "I see one!" she takes out a glass "What are you doing with that?" when the ship gets closer, Aphmau throws the potion and fishes appear on the ship, but the fishes I see have sharp teeth. Pirates are running around while screaming, Aph laughs, I laugh too "Why did you do that?" she says "Pirates are very cruel and mean and they only care about treasure and hunt rare creatures to make money. I taught them a lesson they won't forget for a long time." I say "Wow, I thought you are a sweet girl, but looks like you have a dark side." she says "Not really dark. When is about my family, I don't let anyone escape that easily." my jaw drops "I better don't make her upset." I go back in the water "Wanna go back? I can show you places you never saw." she jumps too "No need to ask twice!! Let's go!!" she swims fasr, I laugh and swim too "Follow me Aph!" I show her new places, she has a smile on her, we go back to my cave, she will stay over.
