Being a human

Aphmau POV:
The king asked me why I kept leaving, I told him that I like to explore, but he said I might get killed, I don't believe a word. Tavari said he got a surprise for me, so i'm going right now at him, but I have to get through the guards "Hey! Can I show you something?" they look at each other, then at me "Look at this golden clock." they look at it, I move it back and forth "You'll fall asleep" they fall asleep "You'll wake up in a minute and you will mind your business." I go through the barrier, then swim as fast as I could to Tavari's place "I'm here!" he smiles "Just in time, the potions are ready." I say "Potions? I thought I will go to the human world." he says "I am not letting you go alone, plus you need this potion to talk in their language." I ask "How long will they last??" he says "I made them last three days. If we get wet, our tails will come back." I smile "I am so excited! This will be our new adventure! Wait, where is Zane? Is he still mad?" Tavari says "He got used to being a merman, but he's still learning about us. Now, are you ready?" I grin "Of course I am!" he chuckles "Alright then. First, we need to drink these to help us talk in their language." I drink it "I never tried this one, I made it, but never drank one." I say "I am sure it'll be ok." I slowly drink it, his bottles are empty too "I don't feel anything." he is looking at the bottle. Suddenly, I can't breath, same to Tavari "Up... sky..." he takes my hand and swim to the sky... I feel like i'm dying, we end up on sand "Tavari..." he is holding my hand tight, we both start to lose our consciences... my vision is blurry... then I see black...

Amber POV:
"Prince Travis, are you sure about this deal? I don't trust them." he says "I am 100% sure Amber. If they trick me, i'll have their heads." I chuckle "You have the crystal, now you need a lady." he's laughing "He knows I was a pirate... he knows what I've been through... and he accepted me, I owe him my life..." he is wrapping his arm around me "We are friends forever, no matter what." I say "Friends for life" that makes me smile. I notice something near the ocean "Do you see that?" Travis looks at what i'm looking "Yeah" I walk faster "Omg!!!" 2 people laying unconcious... they don't have clothes on. We cover them "Let's go back to the castle!!" we carry them.

*One hour later*
Tavari POV:
Gah... that potion almost killed us, but I guess we survived... I look around "Is this a room?" i'm on a bed, Aphmau is waking up slowly "Are we alive?" I say "Yes and we are on a bed." she blushes "Well, we are dating, so I don't mind." I notice we have clothes on "Are these clothes?" I say "Yeah" she gasps "If we are humans now, it means..." Aphmau moves the blanket. Our tails are gone, there are 4 legs "Wow, they look cool!" she touches her feet "Look! Fingers!" I laugh "You are adorable" she giggles. I hear a door opening, Aph jumps in my arms "Thank God you 2 are ok!!" I ask "Who are you?" the woman says "I am Amber, the head guard of castle." I ask again "Castle? We are in a castle?" she nods "Me and Prince Travis found you unconcious near the ocean, you didn't have clothes on, we covered you, then we carried you here." Aph asks "D-Did you say p-prince?" Amber says "Yeah!" she looks at me "Can we see him?" the guard smiles "Of course!" we try to get up, but we don't know how to walk, so we fall "Are you ok??" Amber helps us "I think we're a bit tired." she says "I'll help you two walk." Aph's holding me, she is very scared, i'm a bit scared too.

*Few minutes later*
"Prince Travis, they're awake!! Can we let them join us for lunch?" I hear the prince saying "Of course!! I would like to know them." I manage to walk, Aph still holds me. We walk in a room with a big table, 12 chairs and food on table "Welcome! Please take a seat!" we take our seats near him "Are you 2 ok?" we nod "What are your names?" Aph says her name and I say mine "Are you two from another country? I haven't seen you since me and Amber found you." I say "Yes, we wanted to explore, we got a boat and left. Something happened, I think a shark broke the boat." he asks "And you got here unconcious with no clothes on." I say "We don't know what happened with the clothes. About the other thing, I think we were really tired." he says "I understand. Why did we find you holding hands? Are you guys dating?" before I could answer, Aph is holding my hand "Yes!! We have been best friends and now we are dating!" I blush beet red "Awww, that's so cute!" Amber says "It's pretty cute." he looks at our hands "I am looking for a girl to marry, so I can be king. I want the girl to love me for who I am inside, not for me as a prince." Aphmau says "Maybe we can help you?" he shakes his head "You two are my guests, plus there is a pirate helping me." she growls "Is she ok?" I say "We don't really like pirates your highness." Amber says "Finally! I am not the only one!" the prince claps his hands 2 times and a maid appears "Please clean the room for the couple, I want them to enjoy the time here." is it me or my face is more red? "Are you two hungry?" I ask "It's not fish right? We don't eat fish." the prince says "No, it's chicken." Aph is eating "It tastes so good!" I try it too "It's good" he smiles "After what happened to you, the food would help you right now." we nod at what he said "He seems alright, I don't think he is bad." Aph whispers to me "I think he's nice." I say "Same" I see two glasses "If we drink that, our tails will appear?" I say "No, but don't spill it on you." she says "Ok" we take a few sips.
