I didn't get in the house until 4 in the morning & I was beyond tired. Not to mention I had to be at school in 3 hours. I checked my phone seeing my mom, Alexis, & Ariana had texted me.
From: Mom👑- son, I need help with bills.
To: Mom👑- alright I got u.
From: Lex💙- need 2 talk. Call me when u get this.
I didn't feel like calling her because it's too early & I'm too tired.
From: Ri💕- BEEESTTFRIIEENNDD !
To: Ri💕- was'good bestf?
I yawned & threw my phone on the bed. I took off my clothes & shoes & plopped on the bed. I closed my eyes & immediately let my sleep take over.

I woke up to my phone ringing & vibrating. "Yeah?" I groaned. "Nigga you not comin' to school?" Dre asked. I looked at the clock & saw it was 8:00. "Fuck. I'm getting up now," I said before hanging up. Normally, I'd just stay home & sleep in, but a nigga had midterms & I didn't feel like hearing coach's mouth next season about me failing. I wiped my eyes & threw the covers back before getting up.
I walked down the hall & knocked on Rich's door. "Get up hoe. We late for school," I said when I heard him groaning.
I went back to my room & got ready myself. I did my hygiene, put my dreads up, & got dressed in a black Nike shirt with some Nike basketball shorts & my white vans. I didn't feel like getting dressed up.
"You look like shit," Rich said coming in my room. "Bitch fuck you. I'm tired," I said before getting my phone & backpack. "Let's just go. Mom already mad that we woke up late," he said before we went downstairs & out to the car. "Bro, Alexis text me last night saying we need to talk," I said leaning my head against the window. "What you think she wanna talk about?" He asked. "I have no idea, but I hope it ain't no bullshit," I said. "Yeah cause Ri text me saying the same shit," he said. I licked my lips & shook my head.
"They up to something," I said.
When we arrived at the school, we got out & jogged to class. "Imma text you hoe," Rich said once we parted hallways.
Once I got to my class, I walked right inside since the door was opened. "Glad you can join us Mr. Wilson," my teacher said. "My bad I woke up late," I said. "Here's your copy of the English midterm. You better make at least a C Mr. Wilson," he said handing me a paper.
I nodded & sat down at my desk.
This gonna be a long ass day.

After finishing my test & falling asleep, I got up & went to my locker. "Hey, did you get my text?" I turned my head & saw Alexis standing there with her crutches. "My bad Lex. I came home late & went straight to sleep," I said leaning my back against the locker & looking at her. "Why'd you go home late? What were you doing?" She asked making me lick my lips. "Nothin'. I was just chillin' with the boys," I lied. "Really? Where at?" She asked. "Kees house. Why you asking so many questions?" I asked starting to get irritated. Alexis never gets skeptical so I was confused as to why she was now.
"I was just worried about you," she said looking at the floor. "What did you need to talk to me about?" I asked. "How do you manage to make so much money Dominic? I'm curious," she said making my hands start to sweat. I swallowed & shrugged. "I got a bank account set up. Well my brother set it up for me & he always added 2gs in it every week," I half lied. Dame did have a bank account set up for me, but I wasn't allowed to touch that money until I hit 18. It was a total of 500gs in it. "Oh. Well I'll see you in third period. I gotta get to class," she said.
