2) cotton and snow

taking in the calm aroma of nature, he calmed himself with a sigh afterwards, trying to forget about the facts he had been stressing out the whole morning -or maybe his whole life. he got up and walked into the school as the football field that he had been lying became crowded indicating lunchtime had started. he didn't care about classes he missed in the morning, it wasn't first time for him anyway.

stuffing his hands into his pant pockets, he walked down the hallway ignoring the attention, that he always got and too wasn't so fond of it.

"ooh~ there comes our prince charming!"

jungkook closed his eyes, gritting his teeth as he try to suppress agitation forming in his blood. sighing, he continued his tracks to his friends' table not willing to make a scene in school's cafeteria. the blonde trying to put him up to his limit with such childish remarks was not new after all.

"what a pup. gonna cry running to daddy?"

a certain word did able to irk him. feeling his blood boiled, jungkook lost his control as he lunged towards the blonde, pushing off the table on the way. he tightly gripped the blonde's collar until his knuckles turned white while pinning him against the wall.

"say that again."

the blonde smirked, satisfied that he was able to snapped the raven haired boy. he changed his eyes' color to maroon shade purposedly unlike the other one whose eyes were glowing blood red with anger.

"oops! wrong button."

the blonde said, raising his hands, the smirk never left his face. but his ego abrutly disappeared when the alpha growled.

"don't. fucking. cross the line."

he then released the boy, looking down the latter as he was eyeing the prey.

and a scent hit him, making him tensed and unknown tingle feeling raised in his body. his eyes turned darker at the emotion. everythimg turned to blur. it was the first time his heart beating in slow steady pace, his blood warming up and he felt calmed. his eyes directed towards the scent, widening after finding out the scent was from a boy.

Mate

he could feel his wolf howling in joy.

he blinked slowly, natural hazel eyes coming back by the sight of the boy's particular features. a smirk formed when the boy gulped with his presence, knowing that he could also sense the effect that jungkook was getting. he stepped towards the certain gray haired boy, not tearing their gaze apart.

leaning over the boy's neck and taking in the cotton and cool scent of snow, he blew gently against the boy's earlobe, pleased when the boy shivered from his move.

"keep your drools, beautiful."

he wiped the corner of the stuned male's lips, amused by the boy's delicate features, thanking the moon goddess for giving him such ethereal creature as his mate even though he was a boy.

jungkook frowned alittle at the thought. he never had interest in boys or neither he was attracted to boys. then, how the hell his mate turned out as a male?

but his thoughts immediately disappeared when the boy's cheek adorablely got redder by his intense stare. he knew that his mate was definitely not a werewolf as soon as he saw him. he didn't even have the human vibe that made him different from everyone. neither the strange sense of vampire was found in him. the boy seemed mysterious to him... yet glamorous.

"what... was that?"
the boys snapped out of their trance when jimin asked with his eyebrows raised.

"i-i don't k-know?"

jungkook chuckled at his mate's flustered state and his heart got warm upon hearing the boy's deep but soft voice. "your name?"

he looked up jungkook with his big doe eyes. If jungkook was not a ferocious pure alpha-blood werewolf, he would coe at the sight but being himself, he just gave out a small smile.

"t-taehyung"

"cute"

he saw taehyung gulped again and looked anywhere except him with red cheeks.

hell he felt so blessed

he ruffled taehyung's hair, fireworks forming in his chest by the act, until taehyung called jimin.

"jimin"

"yeah?" jimin answered, still couldn't take the situation.

"meet me after school and now, let me get rid of this creep. bye!"

with that, taehyung dashed out of the cafeteria, leaving the amazed boys at the table and jungkook chuckled at his mate's act.

"would you mind explaining why you become so umm.. gay?" hoseok spoke out, tapping his fingers on the table, waiting for jungkook to speak. feeling offended, jimin raised his brow while clutching his chest and eyed hoseok who just ignored the younger.

"i am not gay." jungkook replied with serious tone as he emphasized on each word he said.

"then what was that about?"

"he's my mate."

their eyes widened.

"the fuck?!" jimin cursed.
well of course, he didn't miss yoongi's slap. jimin whined but as usual, yoongi just shrugged off, resulting jimin into a pout.

"you're sure?" jimin asked. his voice filled with worries but jungkook nodded without hesitation. normally, they wouldn't doubt if he said someone was his mate but taehyung being his mate, the enticing scent of his would get werewolves mistaken as a mate but for jungkook, he was sure of it.

"i'm worried, kook." hoseok said looking staring into jungkook's eyes as he continued. "we all know he's not a wolf. Either not a human kind."

"and i'm sure he has no idea what he is, considering both his parents are humans." jimin implied, resting his head on his mate's shoulder who just pushed him off. "and i'm afraid someone would force him or worse, maybe even claim him cause of his scent. you're aware of that, right?"

jungkook stayed silent. "more importantly, he is a boy." yoongi added.

the older boys stared at jungkook who didn't let a word out but looked so deep in thoughts. then, he suddenly got up, taking other boys by surprise.

"hey! where're you going?"

jungkook didn't reply. he just waved his hand at his questioning hyungs as he walked out of the cafeteria, leaving the latter ones clueless, with worries still stainning in their eyes for the boy.
