"wow. that's cool."

taehyung muttered as he stared at familier house before his sight. yoongi rolled his eyes, and bit the inside of his cheek while thinking of why jungkook was paired with this dumb rascal.

after taehyung had fully returned to his right mind, he persuaded yoongi to bring him back home whist the latter rejected and dismissed him with some rude words as usual like -'i'm your teacher, not your fucking uber. so fuck off and find your way home.' but being kim taehyung, he finally succeeded and in surrender, yoongi agreed after countlees grunts (since that brat didn't seem like he's gonna step out of the house if he kept rejecting) and then, with a snap of finger, they're here, both standing awkwardly in front of taehyung's home.

yoongi watched taehyung as he unlocked the door and entered the house before turning to look at him blankly.

"you're not coming in?"

yoongi gave him a droll stare. "basic knowledge. vamps can't enter uninvited places." taehyung said out a quiet 'oh' and held yoongi's wrist to drag him into the house while the other gawked at him.

"you! don't need to do this."

but before taehyung could retort, a sudden tight embrace suffocated him and in shock, he blinked his eyes for the nth time for the day whilst his mind contemplating of who was squeezing the hell out of him right now.

"oh my god. my baby. i thought some bastard took you. thanks god. my precious baby."

"mom?" taehyung pulled out from the hug to see his mother's teary eyes and his eyes brightened in delight as he hugged her again. "where have you been?"

"didn't i leave a note for you?"

"oh." taehyung grimaced, "i forgot."

"who's this gentleman over here?"

his mother, jenifer, approached yoongi with a sweet smile, ignoring the cringe look the other was giving.

"his name is yoongi. i was lost so, he helped me out."

yoongi looked taehyung weirdly at his answer but taehyung just shrugged nonchalantly and he walked into the kitchen, oblivious of the intensity between his friend's mate and his mother who spoke up when taehyung disappeared from the scene.

"i'm not expecting to meet you here, min."

yoongi laughed dryly. "i'm not dealing with you shits, jen. leave me out of this." he said with a calm tone and turned to exit the house. he suspected from the start that taehyung could be somehow associated with that kind he used to know and his mate confirmed it and there, he thought he could finally be out of all the complications in this fucking world, at least after he had lost everything and again having a decent life, but seemed like his fate was not done playing with him yet.

"you know you can't run away, yoong. i don't know what's your deal but - "

"look." he turned around to face the woman as he agitatedly looked straight in the eyes. "i'm not interested in whatever business you are in or what's the next step of you fools. but don't blame me when your kinds interfere with my life again. i won't just sit and watch like a fucking movie this time. i'm now stronger and i can protect or harm anyone i want. so, no. not this time jen."

jenifer sighed heavily as she stared at the back of the male who stepped out of the house before vanishing with no trail behind.

"he's gone already?" taehyung asked with a packet of chips in his arm while his other hand stuffing a handful of chips into his mouth.
