"Shit" I say under my breath as I saw the guys at my front door

They all stared at me for a minute then at the same time started to yell at me.

"Guys look I really wanted to take her out trust me I really did but my friends came over when I was getting ready and I just got distracted and didn't keep up with the time. I feel so bad." I told them

This is when Carson stepped up

"I understand, I'm still pissed at you for not showing up but if she forgives you then we forgive you. But you have to go over there right now and explain. Don't be upset if she doesn't let you talk to her. She's really upset, she was so excited for your date. She got all dressed up and I haven't seen a smile so big on her face for so long until today but it went away when you didn't show up. She locked her door and is crying her eyes out. She won't come out. Just remember if she doesn't talk to you, know what it is all your fault."

I didn't know what to say so I just said "ok"

I quickly put on my shoes and ran over to her house and up to her room

*knock knock*

"Brook? Can I please talk to you?"

"NO GO AWAY" she yells as she sniffles

"Please I want to explain my self. I promise I will take you it tomorrow, please"

I look up when I hear the door unlock and open
There stood Brook with messy hair and mascara running down her face. Even wearing baggy sweatpants and a t shirt she still looked gorgeous.

"Well are you going to talk or..."

"Oh right Yeah"

We walk into the room and I close the door behind me. I turn around to look at her

"I just wanted to say how sorry I am for not coming for our date and I wanted to explain myself. So I was in my room getting ready when the boys came in. I have no idea how they got in cause I was the only one home and the door was locked. Oh they probably used the key to the back door. Anyway, they started teasing me and saying things about me and you going out tonight. When I was ready I still had like 30 minuets before I had to come get you so I went out on the balcony with the guys. We started to talk and I guess I just lost track of time. I when I heard you slam your doors shut and when I looked at the time I'm not lying when I say this but my heart literally broke into a million pieces. I can not tell you had sad and angry I am at myself for not coming to get you. I understand if you don't forgive me and if you don't want to talk to me. I'll just go. Bye Brook." I said

"Daniel wait, I am so so so so sad that you didn't come. I feel like you ditched me on purpose. I'm not going to forgive as easily as I did at the playground. Once again, win my trust, win me over. I want you to prove how sorry you actually are. If you don't want to do this then just walk out of here and pretend that we never became friends" she told me

She gave me two choices. Either to leave and never talk to her again or to win her over. Who know how long it would take to get her to forgive me. If I just leave now then I'll miss her so much. But then again I won't have to waist my time on a little high school crush. But I made up my mind. I know what's best for me and for her. I am going to...
