Chapter 14

I woke with a fright.

I glanced quickly to where Myles was when I last saw him, he was still lying beside me but his eyes were wide open looking back at me.

"Did you have a bad dream?" Myles smirked at me. I nodded then quickly shook my head. I don't remember what I was dreaming.

"I-I don't know" I replied raising an eyebrow at him. Myles slowly nodded then shuffled over to Kieran,"Is he better today?"

"Well he woke up a little while ago but fell asleep again but yeah he looks alright" Myles answered and scooted back over to me.

"That's good then" I smiled,"Oh um have you seen Hex?" I asked. Myles' smile dropped, something's bad.

"He left the server to go back to Valiant" Myles replied with a sigh and lay back in to the tree by me.

"Oh"

Awkward silence.

"Um" I broke the silence, "Uh why did he leave?"

"Because of what's happening here on this server, he begged me to go with him but," He paused,"But I have friends here and I can't just abandon you guys just to save my own ass"

I laughed a bit and nodded,"Thank you"

"Anytime cub" Myles joked. I laughed again and ruffed up his hair. He pouted and flailed his arms at me to stop.

"Guys?" Came a tired voice from in front of us. I whipped round to see Kieran sitting up with one eye closed and the other slightly open.

"Kie!" I squeaked scooting on my but to him and gave him a hug, "Heyo!"

"Hi" Kieran yawned back to me,"W-what happened? "

"Herobrine burnt the house and you tried to put it out with a bucket of water which sent hot steam into your face" Myles answered sitting closer to us.

"Oh wow" Kie laughed. I let go of the hug so he could stretch his muscles from sleeping so long.

"So guys," I started,"What do we do now?"

"Um well going back to the spawn house is a bad idea," Myles replied,"So I guess we're better off leaving this area and walking a good hour to the north"

I nodded slowly. More walking darn.

"Do we have too?" Kie moaned with another yawn. Me and Myles laughed.

"Yes if you don't wanna be killed by Herobrine" I laughed stating the obvious. Kie chuckled and face palmed.

"I forgot about Him" Kieran said.

Myles looked at him like 'wat'.

"Kieran he literally just burnt our house down and almost made Jay kill us" Myles said with the 'wat' look still present on his face.

"I'm tired and I have a headache leave me be" Kie softly growled and lay on his back. I poked his side sending him flying with a fright.

"Omg you jumped!" I giggled then quickly apologised. Kie gave me a stern look so I quickly coward and went and sat next to Myles.

"Can we just rest here for a bit please?" Kie asked us. I looked to Myles and he nodded so I nodded too,"Thank you"

Kie lay back down on the ground and I'm guessing he fell asleep so its just me and Myles now.

"Jay?" Myles spoke up.

"Yesh?"

"Don't you remember what you were dreaming?"

"No I just remember waking up with a bit of a fright.... why?"

"I guess it doesn't matter then..." He trailed off turning his head from me.

"You sure?" I looked at him,"I'll try and remember the dream okee?"

"Yeah thanks" He turned his head back to me. He looked worried though. I wonder what I was dreaming about to make him worried , I was probably speaking in my sleep.

Did I say something that made him worry?

Must have.

The sound of my stomach growling brought me back to reality. Myles laughed and I blushed, quickly covering my stomach with my arms.

"Don't blush I'm hungry too" Myles laughed again. I smiled and let go of my stomach letting my arms slowly drop to the ground.

"Shall we go looking for apples?" I asked, my stomach growling even from thinking about eating food. Myles laughed and nodded getting up.

I got up too, with only a small pain in my back pulsing through my body. I held in cry by clenching my fist. Once the pain stopped I let go and followed Myles who had already gone off in search of apples.

"Found one!" Myles called through the forest, I followed his voice and found him half way up the tree where an apple was indeed hanging from the leaves.

"Nice!" I called back. Myles continued up the tree, grabbed the apple and hopped back down to me. He showed the apple which was a fairly decent size and a bright red colour.

"It looks good" Myles said staring at the apple. I laughed and waved my hand in front of his eyes making him jolt back to reality.

"We can eat it once we find a few more and get back go Kieran" I replied. Myles nodded and we were off again searching for apples.

After half an hour of scouting the trees,  climbing them and grabbing the apples, we headed back to Kie with six apples ready to eat.

As we were walking to Kie, I heard voices so I grabbed Myles by the collar and yanked him behind a tree just before he walked in to view of who was talking.

"Ow" Myles yelled, I apologised and pointed in the direction the voices were coming from,"Who's talking?"

"How am I supposed to know", I whisper shouted. He shrugged and tip toed to the tree closer to the people talking.

"...yeah they shouldn't be long now..." I caught Kie's voice. Wait who's Kie even talking to? It can't be Herobrine or Matthew.

I looked at Myles, he looked back at me.

I gestured toward the voices and he nodded. We both walked out from behind the trees to see Kieran happily chatting to some other person who was also a boy and had very fluffy looking hair.

"Oh hey guys" Kieran called and looked at us. The boy looked at us too and smiled.

"Hi I'm David, just call me Dave though"
