Angelo
After Annabelle left with her mom her dad took me to the basement , which is pretty nice.
"You like basketball?" He asked switching on the tv.
I nodded and told him I used to play.
I played basketball when I was younger.
All of my championship trophies and jerseys are in my room at my parents house.
I'll have to show Anna one day when I take her to meet my family.
"Really?" He said.
"Yeah I brought home a lot of trophies when I used to play in Italy" I said."Now that I think about it we've never really talked while you were dating my daughter." He said.
"Yeah you're right" I nod.
The his face got serious."I'm still trying to figure out how you were arrested on so many charges but got to walk away free after only 2 years, you're telling me you didn't do any of those things? That it was just a big misunderstanding?" Donte asks me.
I sighed. "Yes, I was framed but luckily they caught the real culprit before I rotted away in that cell for 50 years." I told him.
"Lucky you huh?"He said with a brow raised.
" I understand your skepticism but I'm telling you the truth, my company is one hundred percent legal." I tell him in all seriousness. I'm not lying my other business is completely legal, it's the only one he knows about. I keep that separate from the mafia.
He stares at me for a while before nodding his head.We went back to the game that was on the flat screen. But I could tell the gears in his head was still turning.
