Annabelle

28 weeks (7 months pregnant)

I wake up to the sun shining through the open curtains and blinds.
Who left that open last night?
I looked to my left to see Angelo still asleep.
I looked at my rock, I mean engagement ring and smiled, it's been a few weeks since he proposed.

I got up from the bed and walked to the bathroom to brush my teeth. Passing the frame that held my diploma on the wall. He insisted on hanging a copy up in our room and I had no problem with that. The actual diploma is in our living room for everyone to see.

After wiping my face I began walking to Marco's room to check on him. He's had food poisoning the last couple of days and I wanted to make sure he's feeling a little better because I'm sure he's thrown up all of the contents in his stomach that was giving him food poisoning.

There was no point in taking him to the hospital because it's not that bad to where he needed his stomach pumped.

Angelo was actually trying to sue the restaurant whose food caused him to receive food poisoning but I felt he was taking it too far, but whoever the chef was let Marco get ahold to some bad meat, which is irresponsible on his behalf.
So long story short everyone's meal was free of charge.

Before I went to his room I went downstairs to the kitchen to get him a Gatorade since he need to regain some of the energy and electrolytes he's lost from all of the throwing up.

I slowly went back upstairs to his room, one step at a time, to wake him up.

When I went in there he wasn't in his bed and his sheets were all over the place, which is weird. I walked into his bathroom and he wasn't there. I was getting worried. I walked out of the room and to the stair case to see if he went downstairs.

"Marco!" I called out but I didn't get a response. I walked back to our room and shook Angelo awake.
"Mm, what?" He groaned out turning to his side.
"I can't find Marco." I told him and he sat up.
"He's not in his room?" He asked.
"Obviously not if I'm this concerned right now." I snapped. He raised a brow.

"I'm not sorry." I told him. He smirked.
"So sincere, I'll go find him." He said getting out of the bed.

I followed him back to Marco's room.
"He's not here I just checked." I told him.
"Maybe he was just in the bathroom." He said.
I shook my head.
"No he wasn't in there either." I told him.

When we get to Marco's room he looks in and gesture to his bed. I look in and see he's laying in bed fast asleep.

"W-what? I swear he wasn't here, he wasn't anywhere I couldn't find him." I said feeling like I'm going to lose my mind.
Yes I didn't check every room in the house, that's why I got Angelo because I knew I wouldn't be able to do it myself but the fact that he's in the first place I recently checked is making me feel like I'm losing my mind .

"You're losing it." He snickered.
I smacked his arm. "Shut up this is serious."

I walk over to where Marco was sleeping and lightly shake him. He stirred before opening his eyes.

"How are you feeling?" I ask him.
"A little better, is that for me?" He asked eyeing the Gatorade I didn't realize was still in my hand.

"Yes drink this it'll make you feel a little better." I told him.
He sat up, grabbed the drink, and tried to open it. His cast was still hindering him but he'll be getting it off in a few weeks.
"Here." Angelo said twisting the bottle cap until it opened.

"Thank you." Marco said before drinking it.
"Where were you earlier, I couldn't find you in your room when I came to check on you. I was worried." I told him.

He looked embarrassed for a second.

"I'm sorry mama but I was feeling like I was gonna throw up again so I went to the bathroom but a little throw up got on my pajamas, so I took them off and changed into some new ones in my closet. Sorry I had you worried." He said.

The closet. The one place I didn't check.
"You forgot to check the closet." Angelo said.
I look at him with an irritated look.
"Yeah I realize that now." I said to him.
"I called you but you didn't respond." I said to him.
"Sorry I didn't hear you." He said.
"It's fine, get some rest." I said before walking out.
I get back in the bed and grab a wedding magazine to see if I can get any ideas.
Angelo comes in behind me.
"Do you want to get married before or after you have the baby?" He asks rubbing my stomach.
"Well I'm due in two months, weddings take a while to plan and I kind of want to enjoy having a fiancé for a little while, but on the other hand... I'm not sure, what about you?" I asked.

Angelo and I are happy together, we have a nice home, supporting family on both sides, so this baby will be born into a stable home so it doesn't matter when we get married, whether it's before or after I give birth. But I want his opinion on it as well.

"It doesn't matter, if you want a grand wedding then I suggest after so it gives us enough time to make everything perfect." He said kissing me.

"Okay we can wait then and get to planning." I said when we pulled away from the kiss. He smiled easing his hand into my shorts.

"Not now. Remember I said after the baby is out, my stomach is way to big for you to be pushing up against me like that and that's in any position." I told him pushing his hand away.
He laughed. "I know I know."

Right when he was about to say something else Marco called out for me.
"Gotta go check on him." I said smiling and left to see what Marco wanted.

"You're sitting on this face when you come back." He called out as I was walking away.

"Boy bye!"
