Time lapse. Two days later. >>>>

Ricky's POV

Being locked up inside this bright white room, I am surprised we haven't lost all of our sanity yet. It's been only a couple of days since either of us were manhandled and or tormented by Rem, no one even came in to check on us. I was beginning to think he'd might be getting bored with us and would let us go but who was I kidding? He was probably just planning what he'd put us through next. I still am unable to lay on my back without hollering and though I feel somewhat more alive than I did before, I sensed that death was just around the corner. I held my stomach tight as it made a loud angry growl from hunger. I looked at my lap to see my tiny wrists resting on my thighs. I stroked my shoulder and down my chest, brushing past my collar bone. My frame were now protruding from places that they never did before and I could see every tendon in my feet and hands move as I curled my digits.

"Maybe closer than I think." I muttered to myself.

Neither of us have eaten since we were first ambushed but Chris appeared less malnourished than I did. In fact he was probably twenty pounds heavier than I was. My stomach ached constantly and about a few days ago, I began to count how many hours it would take for me to pass out from the lack of food. My record so far was six but in reality there was not true way of telling how long it really was.

I darted my head to the door and then to Chris as my breathing sped up.

"Chris!" I said turning to him with my eyes wide.

"What is it?" He responded in a groggy tone.

I didn't say a word, remaining frozen for a few moments.

"What is that..." I asked him.

"I don't know wha..."He began to speak.

"Shhh!" I interrupted him midway through his sentence. "Do you hear that?"

"No I don..."

"Shhh! Listen." Barging in on his question again.

After a few minutes of this on and off silence, listening close. I relaxed my senses and just assumed that I was hearing things, my paranoia must have been getting the best of me. But like before I should have listened to myself when I had the change to do something before it was too late.
