I walked down the streets of Paris on my way back to my small home that I shared occasionally with my lover Arno but he was an assassin and that meant that he would spend days at a time away from me on a mission. He had been away for about a week and it was getting close to time for him to return for a few nights. As I walked I could occasionally feel someone's eyes on me but when I looked there would be no one.

I made it home and put the things that I had bought at the market on the table but stopped when I saw a small pease of paper with my name written on it. I picked it up and unfolded it:

Dearest (Y/N),

Meet me at Cafe Theatre tonight at dusk.

Amour, Arno

I smiled and put the letter on the table then changed into something a bit warmer before I set out to see Arno. It was already getting late so I decided to make my way to Cafe Theatre. As I walked I got the same feeling as before but this time whatever it was where closer than before and I slightly began to panic but soon dismissed it because Arno would do this to me all the time. I walked a little farther then a man stepped out in front of me making me bump into him. "I'm sorry, sir."

"It is quite alright, Miss. (Y/L/N)." the man said with a sinister smile.

"How do you know my name?" I asked and backed away from him.

"I know a lot of things about you, (Y/N)." He answered then began to walk toward me as I walked back. My back hit another man making me jump. I looked at the other man and noticed that he was wearing a Templar pin and I knew that I had to get out of here and I had to get out now. "We know who you are and we know who your lover is. Respectable women like yourself should be with someone that can treat you right."

"Arno does treat me right. Now please, leave me alone." I said sternly.

"He can't do you like we could." The man grabbed my wrist and pinned me against the nearest wall. "We could make you feel better then he could in more ways than one."

"You'd be surprised what he can do to me," I stated and brought my knee up hitting him in his most sensitive spot making him fall to the ground holding himself. I took the moment to make a run for it but unfortunately, I didn't make it very far. The second man gripped me and throw me to the ground and began to pull my dress up. "No! Stop it!" I yelled but it was no use. However, I was close enough to the Cafe Theatre that Arno or anyone should be able to hear me.

"Hold still whore! You'll spread your legs for an assassin but not a templar? Maybe you're not as respectable as we thought." He growled and I began to wiggle even more.

"Arno!" I screamed out then tears began to fall from my eyes. I was now afraid, not from being sexually assaulted but for my life. I screamed again "Arno!"

"Shut up!" the man yelled at me and slammed my head on the road making me groan in pain. The minute I felt the man's rough hand under my dress I heard the sound of a hidden blade and my attacker was thrown off but I dared not get up yet. I heard the other man yell then fall to the street in a heap then I felt soft gentle hands on my back and I opened my eyes. "Mon Amour," came Arno's voice and I opened my eyes and wrapped my arms around his neck. "Are you all right, (Y/N)?"

"I am now," I said with tears in my eyes. He pulled me to my feet and examined me from head to tow.

He cupped my face in his hand and used his thumbs to wipe away my tears. "I'm here now, love and no one will ever harm you I promise." He said then he noticed the scrap on my head. "Come, let's get that taken care of." He said and then pulled me into a kiss.
