Altair Ibn-La Ahad

Altair and I were on our way back to Masyaf from a mission in Jerusalem when an arrow came out of nowhere piercing my shoulder making me fall from my horse. "(Y/N!)" Altair shouted and jumped from his to come to my aid.

"Get them!" I heard a man call out and looked up to see Templars surrounding us from above. Altair grabbed me and pulled me behind a rock then examine our situation before looking at me with a smile. "What the hell are you smiling about?" I asked.

"We can take them, we just have to get them to come to us." He said then slowly stood up and held his hands up in surrender. "You've got us outnumbered and we know that, but she is hurt badly. You can kill me if you want but please don't kill her." He called out loudly to our attackers.

"Don't think that you can trick us assassin. Why should we spear her?" Their leader asked.

Altair looked to me and then back to the Templars "Because she is with child." When he said that my mouth opened and my eyes went wide. He knew! No, he couldn't know. I didn't let anything slip out about it nor did I let on that there was anything going on with me. I looked over to the Templar leader whose face changed instantly at what Altair said. "Judging by the look on your face you don't kill women that are with child."

The leader road his horse closer down to us and got down motioning for the others to join him. He looked down at me "Get up, girl." I stood up and looked up at him trying not to make eye contact to give off the impression that I was afraid of them. Of course, I wasn't but that was beside the point. The man looked me up and down then smiled smugly and grabbed my chin making me look at him. "Yes, I can see it in your eyes that you are with child." he caressed my cheek with his thumb "Oh no, I'm not going to kill you. I'm going to keep you for myself."

"And what of my child?" I asked then he removed his hand from my face then walked over to Altair.

"I will allow her to have your child, assassin, but after it is born I will have it killed." This angered Altair to the point that he didn't care about keeping this plan going any longer. I saw the anger in his eyes as he stabbed the man in the throat with his hidden blade then slashed down three more men before they even know what was happening. I joined in only to throw two knives before they all lied on the ground in puddles of blood.

I looked from the dead templars up to Altair who looked at me as if he was seeing me for the first time. The way his eyes fell on me and looked down my body finally noticing the slight weight gain and the glow on my face. I didn't say anything as he walked up to me cupped my face and kissed me with pure love. I kissed him back and put my hands around his wrists as his tongue grazed my lips and I bit his lip. We broke and he looked into my eyes in a way that made me want to cry. "You really are with child, aren't you?"

"Yes, I was waiting for the right time to tell you. I didn't want it to be in the field though." I said then he picked me up and spun me around making me giggle.

"I'm going to be a father!" He shouted out then set me back down and kissed me again. "I love you, (Y/N)."

"I love you too, Altair."
