Ever since Mikey was young, he was different. He was different from the other boys. He dressed more femine, he wore dresses. All the boys in his class always talked about how hot some female celebrities were but Mikey never saw it. He related more to the girls when they talked about how hot some male celebrities were.
His parents completly understood. His two mum's helped him pick out dresses and shoes. His brother Gerard always yelled at him if the colours in his clothes clashed.
Starting school for Mikey was hard, usually people would make fun of him. On the first day of high school, the term had already started and Mikey had joined late because his family had moved.
The teacher called him up to the front of the classroom to introduce himself.
"Hi I'm Mikey !"
He exclaimed and saw three jock-like boys roll their eyes, some girls smiled sweetly at him, a group of boys and one kid who's gender no one knew smiled too.
Mikey walked over to the group of boys and the kid and sat down in one of the two seats that was free at that table.
"Hey I'm Elijah,"
The kid-who-no-one-knew-their-gender said.
"I'm Jay,"
Said a blonde haired boy with a thrasher hoodie.
"I'm Romell,"
Said a boy with dark hair and a batman snapback.
"I'm Luke,"
Said a boy who was really tall and had a weird haircut.
Mikey smiled at all of them. Elijah leaned over the table and stared at Mikey's Fall Out Boy shirt.
"Nice dude ! They're awesome !"
They exclaimed and the boys all nodded. The door of the classroom opened and a boy with dark curly hair ran into the room, his backpack bouncing on his back and he collapsed in the seat next to Mikey.
"Jeez the traffic was mad this morning,"
He panted and threw his bag on the floor. Mikey couldn't help but stare at the boy, he had soft brown eyes, a slightly high voice and a cute smile.
Mikey grinned to himself and stared at his lap.
"Who's this then ?"
He heard the boys say and he faced Mikey.
"This is Mikey, he's new,"
Jay said, before leaning over to Luke, holding a can of Sprite and whispering,
"Wanna buy a can ?"
Mikey watched as they all laughed and he was confused.
"Sorry it's an inside joke,"
The boy said.
"I'm Ray,"
He said and smiled making Mikey's heart flutter. What a cutie.
