Part 10

Kai wakes up at around 6am and looked around to see Jax sitting, fully dressed, ready to go. "Jax.. What's going on?"
    "I'm leaving, Kai." Jax says trying to keep from getting emotional, he looked so scared and angry. He looked like he was hiding something from Kai but didn't want to say.
    "J-Jax.. Please don't go..." Kai pleads.
    "Goodbye Kai. I'll see you at the bottom.." Jax says and starts to walk away, he hears Kai crying behind him, thinking of something, anything to say to make Jax stay.
    "At least take me with you!" Kai sobs, he was on his hands and knees begging Jax to stay. He reached out and grabbed Jax's coat, pulling Jax closer.
"Don't Leave me like this.. Let me go until the 17th floor please.. One floor with you, I can't say goodbye, not yet anyway..." 
Jax looks at Kai without emotion, "You look pathetic on the ground like that. Get up."
Jax kicks Kai off him and continues to walk to the stairway and doesn't turn around until he hears Kai yell at him, "Jaxon! Come back! Please..." His voice trails off but regains its strength, "I'm in love with you!"
Jax turns around and laughs, "You what?"
"Y-You heard me. I'm in love with you I have been since we were younger.. You always protected me and you-" Kai gets cut off by Jax's psychotic laughter.
"You think that I would ever love you?" He laughs out, "You're a fucking faggot. Nobody wants you." Jax walks through the door and leaves Kai on the floor sobbing.

I wanted you to stay with me forever.. And you left me there crying, I begged you to come home with me, I was on my knees begging you to let me stay by you because in the end all I ever wanted was to protect you and be there with you always... Like when I was younger and you promised never to leave me.
