Christopher Maurice Brown,

"Aye Chris I'm sorry bout what happened in there. Thanks for picking me up." Amari thanked me, as I helped him put his suitcase in the trunk.

"It's nothing, man. I see you had to leave." I said as we closed the trunk and got in the car. He sat in the passenger seat and I sat in the drivers seat.

"So what's up with you and my sister? Why did you leave? And why is she so mad about you?" Amari questioned me and I sighed.

"See...me and your sister used to date eachother." I said to him.

"I knew it! I knew it! The way she acted around you and how YOU acted around her!" Amari shouted and I jumped up, making him laugh.

"So why is she mad at you?" Amari asked me.

"So when y'all were in the casino when we were in Vegas, I tried to get in the casino but the security was being bitches and didn't wanna let me in for some apparent reason I still don't understand to this day. But I went to the hotel and I saw Nicki's manager, Debra, saw me and I told her about the situation but instead of helping me, she said that it's best for me to leave the tour because I'm no good for Nicki and I'm not healthy for her career. I'm a distraction." I explained to him.

"Something is wrong with that woman. Who is she to tell someone that they're a distraction to that person?" he asked.

"I don't know, you tell me. So I'm like what are you trying to say, and she said that I should leave the tour and cut all ties with Nicki. Delete her number, just forget everything I had with her and never call her again, and pretend as if I 'never met her'. One thing I regret is saying yes and actually leaving." I told him.

"Damn. So let me guess, after you left, Debra ended up telling Nicki the total opposite of what happened and told Nicki that it was your decision to leave and you said all this bad stuff about her, resulting in Nicki being angry with you, correct?" He raised his eyebrow, asking me.

"Exactly, but how you know?"

"Because Nicki's been in a situation like that before. See, she used to date one of the members on the tour crew a few years back. It wasn't a serious relationship though like y'all seemed to be. Debra did the same exact thing she did to you, to him. I haven't heard from that man but I heard he's married and has 2 kids.

"Wow. But the things is, I really love your sister but she's not acting like her old regular self. While I was in the hotel I kept on telling time and time again that I didn't choose to leave and I told her the truth, but she still didn't believe me yet she's saying in my face how she loves me which I highly doubt, because if she really loved me she would believe me instead of thinking I'm lying." I told him.

"She's acting that way to everyone. Soon once everyone leaves, she will come to reality and how she was treating everyone else." He said.

"I miss her, and I loved her...I still do. But maybe it's just time to move on. Maybe she's right. We don't deserve each other." I said.

"You two really don't deserve each other, to be honest. With you being a loyal, good person and how amazing and intelligent you are, you don't deserve a person like her. Her attitudes, she's mean, and conceited. You don't deserve being with a person like that. And she doesn't deserve somebody so good like you." He said.

I began driving on the highway, on our way back to California.

Onika Tanya Maraj,

Tears began streaming through my eyes. I don't know what to do next.

Chris just walked out of my life, and not only did he, but my own little brother did too.
