Bruce made me go through a polygraph test, you know? So you have some explaining to do. Why is Tim Red Robin? Why is Barbara Oracle? Why is Jason Red Hood? Oops, you don't need to tell me, since I've already read up all your case files up to when Tim lost his mind. Do you mind explaining now? I immediately asked.
I... I... I don't know, honestly. Cassie told me to bring you up here, so I did. And, what are you doing? He looked up at me, who had already materialized a laptop and had plugged it in to the Watchtower's system. I pulled out Bruce's phone, giving me automatic access to its systems, before clicking onto the security feed. What are you doing?
Is it not obvious, Bird Brain? I continued to tap, searching for heat signatures. This is a challenge of who can stay hidden the longest right? To test our stealth skills. Well, your stealth skills. I'm making it harder. Don't you want your team to improve?
He couldn't argue with that, and he continued to watch me. I placed a hand against the wall again, connecting myself with the entire satellite. I watched as Beast Boy transformed into a small rat, scrambling around, and I manifested a cat beside him, and he yelped, running away. Is that supposed to be a representation of Teekl?
Klarion's pet cat? Yeah, I guess. He is a Lord of Chaos and a frequent villain you have to face. I answered, and watched as Gar ended up scurrying right in front of Virgil. Virgil immediately looped the chain around Gar, trapping him, before he loosened it, allowing Beast Boy to become Beast Boy again. Virgil's reflexes sure have improved, compared to his other missions.
How many of our missions have you read through? You only found my identity last night!
I read fast. Plus, Tim is excellent at summaries. I continued to search through the satellite, before I spotted readings coming from the water tanks. Looking at the shape of whoever was inside, I realized that it was Lagoon Boy. How on earth had he gotten inside? I hacked into the heating system, boiling the water, which resulted in La'gaan yelping and swimming out, causing a lot of noise. Virgil noticed this, and flung a hand out, tearing open the water tank, revealing a burning hot La'gaan, who glared at Virgil. I quickly sent a construct to collect the water, pushing it back into its original location as Virgil reattached the tank.
"This is all Eclipse's fault. She's revealing all of us!" La'gaan scowled. Me and Dick held back a laugh, and I handed him another laptop. You search for the boys, I'll handle the girls. The girls will be harder to find.
Dick found Bart first, zipping in the room in front of Virgil, waiting to attack. Activating some kind of trap, Bart tripped over, launching straight towards the opening door and into Virgil. Dick grinned. I could get used to this. Haven't been the puppet master in so long.
I found Karen next, coincidentally near Blue Beetle. Time to mess things up. I began to weave together an EMP device, before sending a blast through the room they were in. Immediately, Blue's scarab powered down, reverting to a scarab, while Bumblebee fell from the ceiling which she was latched on. Unable to do much without her size, she tried to enlarge.
What did you do? Dick asked, beside me.
Babs isn't the only smart one, you know? Artemis did this once, to power down the Red Legion. All electrical devices and machines switch off. I limited the range on the EMP device so it would only result in that room, because if it was the whole satellite... bye bye oxygen and life support.
He grinned, before he began to type into his laptop. A room began to grow green, and Conner stumbled around, before he tried to hide again. Kryptonite radiators. Linda used them to train how to fight without her powers if that every happened.
