Six months later

"Lena!"

I heard a voice calling my name but I couldn't force myself to open my eyes.

"Lena, wake up!" the voice landed on my stomach causing me a lack of oxygen.

"Fuck off, Anna. You got me drunk and made me stay up all night and now when I want to sleep so I don't look like a zombie on my wedding day, you are harassing me."

She rolled her eyes.

"First of all, I wasn't pouring the tequila in your mouth, you did it well by yourself. Second, this is your wedding day and you don't have more time to rest. It's 10 a.m and you're not even close to ready. Even if you slept for a week, I'm sorry to tell you, you would still look like a zombie. Third, the delivery guy is at the door and he says he has a package for you. I can't sign, you have to. And last but not the least, I wasn't harassing you, idiot! Get up!"

Oh, I want to kill you. I want it bad! I rolled over and managed to crawl down the bed. As I stood up on my feet, the hotel room started spinning around me.

I got to the door and the delivery guy observed me like I was crazy.

"What are you looking at? Like you've never seen a woman after her baccalaureate night."

He turned red and muttered.

"No, it's just.. You have something on your face."

"Give me that package and get lost! Who sent it?"

"I can't tell, open it to find out."

"Mysterious, aren't you?"

I signed and ripped the package out of his hands.I staggered back to the bed and sat down. I looked at the box. It was pink and had flowers on it. A bow was tied on top and I screamed when I realized what was in it. White laced shoes with a bow over the ankle. The heel was high and the inner side of the shoe was blue. I took them in my hands and smiled widely.

"Oh my God" Anna sighed.

"I know" I nodded and spotted a note beside the other shoe.

My dear Lena,

I would do anything to make you happy, so I bought this shoes so you can have your something blue. I hope you like them. I'll see you later.

                                                                           with all my love, Mark

One week before

"We need to postpone our wedding" I said seriously as Mark was stroking my hair.

He looked at me frowning.

"Why?"

"I don't have something borrowed, something new, something old and something blue. I can't get married without it."

I made a sad face and he started laughing.

"You have got to be kidding me!"

He started rolling all over the bed and I hit him.

"Don't mock your future wife!"

He made a serious face and pulled me closer.

"Sorry. You have something new. Your wedding gown."

"Oh, right!" I said and clapped my hands looking like a retarded seal.

"You can borrow something from Anna and you will have something borrowed. And something old.. Let me see."
