Chapter 3: Unexpected First Day

Mark's POV

It was early in the morning, I was sleeping soundly on the bed until and a sound woke me up. I opened my eyes to see Hope standing in front of me with a tray filled with breakfast.

"Hubby...wake up."
She said.

I sat up and rubbed my eyes and then look at the tray of food then look away.

"I don't like having my breakfast on the bed."
I said and got up then stretched my body.

"Put it on the table."
I said and head towards the bathroom.

I got into the shower and felt more awakened afterwards. I brushed my teeth, wash my face and comb my hair up.

I got dressed and then came out with my tie and blazer in my arm then I head downstairs to see Hope all dressed up as well.

"We should eat our breakfast or we'll be late."
Hope said.

I sat on the table eating my breakfast and the next thing I know is I'm gonna puke...

I drank the coffee which was too salty, did she literally added salt into my coffee?!

"I'm not eating anymore."
I said and got up.

"Why? I woke up super early to make you these."
Hope said.

"If you wish for me to die then I'll eat it, did you literally put poison in there?"
I asked.

"I'm sorry...I'm not a great cook anyway..."
She said.

"I'll just skip my breakfast."
I said grumpily and took my tie and tied it on my neck and I wore my blazer.

I got out and there's a car there waiting and a man approached to me.

"Annyeonghaseyo, it is nice to meet you sir, my name is Park Sungjin, I'll be your secretary from today."
He said.

"Oh, it's nice to meet you, I've heard of you from my father."
I said.

"Now sir, would you please enter the car, we will escort you to the company."
Sungjin said.

I nodded and got in the car and then Hope came in later. The car drove off and a few moments later we arrived.

I stepped out from the car and it seems like the whole employees and staffs in the company are all here to welcome Hope and my arrival.

"Welcome sir."
They all greeted.

"My wife and I thank you for spending your busy times to welcome us, I hope that we can all work together with effort."
I said and everyone clapped.

"This way sir."
Sungjin said.

Sungjin took me to take a look at every part and department of the company. It was tiring to be honest, this building is super big and I really wonder how did Sungjin manage to memorise every part of this place.

We then came to the last part which is the final developing group department and the door is opened with 4 man inside.

"Now let me introduce our team to you sir, this is the final developing group, this is Park Jaehyung, Kang Younghyun (a.k.a Brian), Kim Wonpil and Yoon Do Woon."
Sungjin introduced.

"Ah...so you're in this team too?"
I asked.

"Yes sir."
He answered.

"Alright then, I hope we can work well together."
I said.

"Yes of course sir."
The rest answered.

"And sir, here is your office."
He said and lead me up to the second floor.
