Chapter 26: The Start of The End

Mark's POV

"Ah..."

I opened my eyes to see Jessica sleeping beside me. I tried to get myself together after getting drunk last night.

I felt a pair of arms wrapping around my waist.

"Honey, you're awake."

I broke the distance between us and quickly stood up to get ready for the day. I brushed my teeth and took a shower then changed into my outfit.

"How much longer do you want to treat me so coldly?"

"Shina and Jin are getting married in two weeks, and until now, you are nothing but a friend and business partner to her."

"You are torturing yourself Mark...what else do you want?"
Jessica said.

"I want a divorce."
I said

"I will not allo-."

"I am not asking for your permission."
I interrupted

"You know what are the consequences really well don't you?"

I grabbed Jessica's wrist and pushed her towards the wall.

"If you really think that you can threaten me, keep this in your mind, I am not your puppet."

"And if you really want to play this dirty game of yours, we are officially at war."

I packed some clothes and leave the house with my luggage.

Shina's POV

"WAT?!"

Krystal, Charlotte and Areum exclaimed.

"You are getting married?"

Krystal asked.

"Ya...in two weeks."

Areum wrapped her arms around my waist and pulled me into a hug.

"AHHHHHH Shina is finally getting married!"
she exclaimed.

However, Charlotte and Krystal don't seem to be as excited as Areum.

"What's with that face you two?"
I asked.

"Nothing, we are really happy for you Shin."
Charlotte said.

"Ya, who wouldn't be happy that their best friend is getting married?"
Areum asked.

"Have you picked your wedding dress? How about the venue, is it in a Church? Seaside? Or a beautiful wedding hall?"

"Ummm...as for the venue, Jin want it to be in a wedding hall, and as for dresses, why don't you girls help me with that?"

"Here are some concept that Jin prefers."

I said and showed them the wedding dresses design that Jin picked out for me.

"This is nice! That one too! I think you will look gorgeous in this."
Areum said.

DING DONG

"I'll get the door."
Charlotte said.

Charlotte went to get the door.

"Honey I'm home."
Jinyoung said and planted a kiss on Charlotte's forehead.

"Aish, disgusting."
Yugyeom rolled his eyes.

"Jackson ahhhhh!"
Krystal exclaimed as she run towards Jackson.

Jackson spread his arms and welcomes Krystal into his embrace.

"I miss you my baby."
Jackson said and pat Krystal's head.

"Get a room you love birds."
Youngjae said and removed a earpiece from his left ear and place it in his AirPods case.

"Areum is here too."
Jaebom said.

"Oppa oppa, Shina and Jin are getting married!"
Areum exclaimed and the room atmosphere became dull and quiet.

"Oh we see..."
Jinyoung replied.

"What's up with your reactions?"
Areum asked.

"Are you guys not happy for Shina?"

The silence continues to fill up the atmosphere. The boys exchange eye contact waiting for one to reply.

"Is everything ok?"
I asked.

"Of course everything is."
A voice speaks from my back.

I turned around and there stood a familiar figure. Tall and skinny. Beautiful face. Fair skin, soft hair.

"Mark hyung."
Bambam called.

I observe him. Luggage? Is he going overseas soon?

"Why are you carrying luggage?"
Youngjae asked and offer to hell carry one of his bags.

"I am moving out."
He replied.

"Did you and Jessica fought?"
Areum asked.

"No, I am going to file a lawsuit against her."
He said.

"Lawsuit?"
I questioned.

"Yes."
He smiled.

That smile...it seems delightful and warm. It felt like a bird was released from its cage after being trapped.

"I am going to expose everything she done."

"And I will divorce her."

"Hyung you know that she will not let you have your way effortlessly."

"I know which is why I need your hell."
He said.

"All of yours."
He looked at me.

"Mark, we got your back."
Jaebom placed his hand on Mark's right shoulder.

"Thank you."
