Chapter 10: Two doors

Today, Mark and Shina are going on a business trip to Busan for three days one night. They are going for a meeting with a client.

Shina arrived at the airport with Jin. He helped Shina to get her luggages and walk in to the airport with her.

"It's far enough..."
Shina said stopping Jin from going any further.

"I wanna see you go in."
Jin said.

"It's ok, I can go by myself."
She said.

"I'm worried...San Hyuk hyung couldn't come...I don't feel like it's safe."
Jin said.

"Why wouldn't it be? I've travelled by myself all the way to America, going to Busan is nothing."
She smiled.

"But...it's with a guy..."
Jin said.

"So what? It's just work, I'll be back soon."
She said.

"I wish I can come with you but I got work."

"You don't have to."
She said said and gave him a hug.

"I'll see you in two days."
She smiled then as she turned around, she met Mark.

"Oh mr. Tuan!"
Shina greeted.

"What are you waiting for? Let's go."
Mark said.

"Ok coming."
Shina said and bid Jin goodbye and then went in.

Meanwhile, Mark and Jin were watching her going in as Jin shoot Mark a glare.

"Don't you dare Mark..."
Jin said.

"We'll see."
Mark smirked.

"Other than work...I expect you to stay away from her."
Jin grabbed Mark's collar and harshly push him away.

Mark said nothing but smirked then dragged his luggage away with him. Mark went through the security checkpoint and then ended in the waiting room with Shina.

Shina's POV

I felt really excited but at the same time...quite nervous. This is my first ever business trip and I am really looking forward to it. I just hope that I would not mess it up.

A moment later, our plane had arrived. We grab our belongings and start to make our way to into the plane.

I tried to place my luggage into the storage cabin on top of the seat but I had trouble doing it because of the distance from me to the cabin...ok fine to summarise that, I'm too short that I can't reach.

I heard chuckling and turned to my side.

"Yahhh!"
I look at him annoyedly and dropped my luggage on the ground.

"You're so short."
He said in between his laughs.

"That's mean!"
I pouted.

"Here let me help you...shortie..."
Mark said and grabbed my luggage then place them into the cabin and then he shut it close.

I sat comfortably on the seat and Mark sat one space beside me.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking, we're are lending on Busan Airport in a short while, please stay on your seat and fasten your seatbelt.

As soon as the announcement is made, I stretched my arms and legs from the sleep. My earphones are still on as the music flows through my ears which makes me more awake.

I turned to my side to see Mark still sleeping on his comfortable chair. His head are off the head rest and one of his earphone dropped. He must be tired...just by looking at the way he sleep.

Shortly, we landed on Busan Airport and we're told that we can leave the plane. I got up and stretched myself and see Mark still sleeping. I got up from my seat and went over to wake him up.

"Mark-ssi, we're here, wake up."
I said slightly shaking his shoulder.

"Five more minutes please babe..."
He said in between his sleep and he hugged my hand.

Babe...is he thinking about Jessica? He must missed her...but sadly, he got the wrong person.

"Mark-ssi, I'm not Jessica, I'm Shina, please wake up now."
I said.

Slowly, his eyes opened and then he looks mad...had I did something wrong? He got up grumpily and grabbed his belongings then left the plane leaving me behind.

I got everything and quickly chased behind him. Why is he mad...I'm really curious.

We got out of the airport soon and then we got into a car that will send us to our hotel. It've been a while since I came to Busan and things really do change fast over these years.

"Mark-ssi, do you come to Busan often?"
I asked.

"Not really, only for business."
Mark said looking at his phone.

"You should take a look outside."
I said.

"Mhh..."
He nodded but not even paying attention.

"You're not listening."
I mumbled.

He really seems busy, he never leave his phone alone after we got off the plane.

We arrived at the hotel and it's really grand. We were greeted by the hotel's managers and staffs gathering in front to welcome us.

"Welcome Mr. Tuan and Ms. Tan, this way please."
A lady said and lead us inside.

We're in the elevator to our room when I looked at Mark and he noticed and looked at me. I went towards his ear and began to whisper really softly.

"It's just a two days trip, we don't have to stay in such a grand hotel."
I whispered.

"Even if it's two days, I still want to sleep comfortably."
Mark answered.

We went into a room with two bedroom in it. So Mark and I will be staying together well not really together but in the same space but behind two different doors.

"If you have anything, please inform us."
She said.

"Alright, thank you."
Mark replied and she left.

I walked out to the balcony with a really good view. I feel so refreshed just by looking at the beautiful ocean in front of me.

"I specially requested this room, because of the view."
Mark said.

"I remembered you love to just stare at the ocean."
Mark added.

"Hmmm, it seems like you know a lot about me Mark-ssi."
I said.

"I sure do."
Mark smiled.

"Mark..."
I mumbled.

"If that's the case, tell me, what kind of relationship do I have with you."
