Jin's POV

It has been exactly one month since I disappeared from society.

I received endless messages and phone calls from Shona every hour, but all I wanna do now is to get her off my mind.

"How long are you intending to hide from the world, Mr Kim."
Jessica said as she sips her coffee.

Iceland is such a beautiful country. I stood by the balcony of our villa; Shina and mine. Here, everything is just perfect.

The field of the lavender garden spread across the land and the swan dances their way through the lake of beauty.

"You can't be hiding forever, the truth is honest, it can't be blinded."

"You're only hiding to show that you're weak, a coward."

I rolled my hand into a fist and deep down inside my heart, I know that I've only been blinded by love.

"You know nothing about me."
I spoke.

"No Jin, I know you very well."

"Better than yourself."

Hope walked towards me as she places her arms on my shoulder and leans against me. I can feel her breath against my ear and it hovered upon me. Like a threat.

"I know something about you that the whole society wants to know."

"Your weakness and that's Shina."

"Are you up for another game?"
Jessica giggled.

I pushed her away and held her against the wall as my arms are firmly held against her throat.

"I'm warning you, do not toy me around."

"It has ended, your game, I'm not in."

Jessica burst out with laughter.

"Jin, have you ever wondered, what would happen if Shina finds out about the truth?"

"Do you really think she'll just be with Mark, and be happy?"

I loosen my strength and took a step back.

"No..."

When Shina woke up that day. The doctor told us that Shina is as fragile as a glass, once she got hurt, she would shatter into an unfixable glass.

Her emotion are more sensitive than usual. If she's caught up in something that to hard to accept, it may cause a serious impact on her brain.

"Even if I'm going down to hell, I would not be alone Jin."

"One month, exactly one month, marry her and never let me see you two again."

My legs felt week and I collapsed on my knees. Tears started to build and they slowly drop down my cheeks.

I feel hopeless. I've been trapped and defeated, not by Mark, not by Jessica, but by love.

Shina's POV

The meeting took forever and finally, they are over. The shareholders started to disperse a little by little and there were Mark and me who are left.

"So, are you on for a dinner?"
I asked.

"Of course, I miss home cook food a lot."
Mark said.

"Hmmm, why don't we have it at my place? I'm cooking."

"Wow. Shina Tan knows how to cook?"

"There's a lot of things you don't know about me."

"But first, we need to go for grocery shopping."
I said.

Immediately, Mark starts his car and we went to the grocery store that's near my place.

We walk through the grocery store picking the ingredients needed for our dinner tonight. The way Mark picks the ingredients were so precise. It's as if he is an expert.

"So Ms Tan, what's so nice of you in offering me a free dinner tonight?"
Mark asked.

"Oh silly you, there ain't such thing as a free lunch."
I chucked.

"You Mr CEO, are gonna give me a hand, and also provided that you'll help me out with the dishes after dinner."
I smirked.

"Oh well, I guess that's a deal."

After getting the groceries, Mark drives us back to my home and we began preparing dinner.

Mark and I were like a married couple cooking our dinner together. Although I know he is married and I am engaged to Jin. I know this isn't right but it somehow makes me feel complete. As if, this was a feeling that was once lost.

Mark took the flour and egg from the grocery bag as I fetch him an apron. The sound of the water boiling told me that everything is set.

I didn't notice how I was distracted by Mark's charming look when he is cooking. He was so concentrated when cutting the ingredient bit by bit.

"How much of each?"

Mark asked and I was snapped out of my dream world.

"Uh...two or three would be just fine."

His brain absorbed the information and coordinate the message really well. After a time, everything began to form up like how it was supposed to be. The final job was to set them on the plate.

"Impressive Ms Tan."

Mark said as he unties his apron.

"I didn't know Mr CEO could help out in the kitchen."
I said.

"There's a lot you don't know about me."
He winked.

"Go on, wash your hand, and let's eat."

I nodded and as I was on my way to the sink.

DING DONG

Who could that be?

"Just a moment, coming."
I yelled.

I twisted the doorknob and pulled the door opened.

My body weakened and I took a step back. Tears were forming in my eyes but not enough to overflow.

"Jin..."
