I still remember the day she left. It was sunny that day, not a cloud in the sky. Warm. Like her. Warm and inviting and made you want to do something crazy. We had made dinner reservations for two that night. I had to call and cancel.
She had a way about her, that made you see the color in the world. The good and the bad and the crazy. She made you not care. You did things on impulse and always had fun. The craziest and most dangerous moments with her with the ones I'll cherish the most.
It was like I had lost all sanity, but I didn't want it back.
Never give your heart to somebody who requires you to lose your mind.
Because once they leave you get it back, all color leaves. It's black and white with nothing in-between.
