New Facility, New Life

I hugged Minho who held me and kissed myforehead. I woke up couple hours later after falling asleep by Minho.

He pulledme out of the helicopter and we had run inside the gates of a facility. I heldhis hand and saw the inside.

We were placed into a room where we had ate andplayed around and talked. The door opened and we all got up, a man walked inand asked "You kids doing all right? Sorry about all the fuss. We had ourselvesa bit of a swarm."

"Who are you?" "I'm the reason you're all still alive. It'smy intention to keep you that way. Now, come with me. We'll get you kidssquared away."

We started walking and he continued "You can call me Mr. Janson.I run this place. For us it is a sanctuary, safe from the horrors of theoutside world."

"You all should think of it as a way station. Kind of a homebetween homes. Watch yourselves."

Sparks flew onto Newt and Thomas and Tomasked "That mean you're taking us home?" "A home of sorts."

"Sadly, therewouldn't be much left of wherever you came from. But we do have a place foryou. A refuge, outside the Scorch, where WICKED will never find you again. Howdoes that sound?"

We all looked at each other and Minho asked "Why are youhelping us?" "Let's just say the world out there is in a rather precarioussituation. We're all hanging on by a very thin thread."

"The fact that you kidscan survive the Flare virus... makes you the best chance of humanity'scontinued survival. Unfortunately, it also makes you a target, as no doubt bynow you has noticed. Beyond this door lies the beginning of your new lives."

Heopened it and he said "First things first... Let's do something about thatsmell." I went with the girls to the showers and washed my hair and cleanedmyself washing off all the blood and goo from the grievers.

We were givenclothes and were taken to a lab area, I was placed onto a chair and a man cameover and gave me a needle. Suddenly a woman came over and asked "you must be (Y/N)."
