Hearing the truth

Lauren's POV
That night I went to y/N's house drew answered the door he said "hey what's up?" I said "I wanna know if what you said is true about her everything about her crying and blaming herself" he said "Lauren listen" I listened and all I heard was someone crying I followed it and it leads me to a door that said y/n I kept hearing her say "it's all my fault it'll always be my fault" I was shocked drew was telling the truth I left after that and sat in my bed thinking was I wrong about y/n? Was she really that broken and no one noticed? I wonder what will happen tomorrow
Y/n's POV
I went the school the same way I did yesterday my eyes went red and a little puffy but I just put on my tough exterior again but this time I built my walls even more I walked in school everyone parted I could see some people were surprised i was back to my badass self I found drew I went to him I hugged him and just put my head on his chest I said "drew" he said "yeah y/n" I said "it's hurt drew I love her I have got 4 years she'll never know" he said "I know y/n just go to class we will talk today with everyone at lunch" he kissed my forehead I went to class I just looked out the window I could see my teachers were worried but I just looked out the window my walls were up all I could focus on was protecting Lauren that's what I live for it was now lunch time we were all sitting behind Lauren's table I could keep an eye on her to make sure no one bothered her I could tell everyone was worried about me but they treated me like they couldn't see my red eyes I was thankful for them I watch brad Simpson walked up to Lauren he said "Lauren will you go on a date with me?" She said "no brad I don't like you" he kept pestering her and getting closer I was getting angry I went up to behind him and threw him back wards he said "y/n what the hell was that for?" I said "Simpson you know exactly what it was for she said no the first time that means no Bradley now leave" he said "y/n after how everyone saw you yesterday they aren't scared of you anyone what happened anyways? Did your dog die?" He was making jokes I was shaking with anger I said "who in this school is still afraid of me even after yesterday?" Everybody but Bradley raised his hand i was still shaking my hand was bleeding from my nails I said "just because yesterday happened Bradley doesn't mean anything and why I was like that is none of your business and next you make joke about it I'll knock your ass out" he said "oh come on y/n you have the perfect life, perfect parents, perfect friends, perfect everything what could of possibly happened?" I said "you wanna know what really happened?" He said "yeah what happened? Daddy didn't buy you a car?" I punched him and said "for your information I don't have a family Bradley it's just me I was kicked out of my house but keeping make jokes about my family because I know 100 ways to kill yours but that wouldn't even compare to the pain I feel so leave now" he looked scared he got up and ran away I got in my car and drove to the cliff I sat the edge of it and just cried it's been 6 years since they died 6 years since my world fell apart 6 years since I lost everything 6 years since everything came crashing down 6 years since I've gotten s proper nights sleep 6 years since I've started crying 6 years since the nightmares started 6 years since I lost my smile
