(Y/n)'s Pov
I was in the cottage all alone. Sitting in the corner playing with my dagger that was on my dirty lap. Thinking. Thinking of what perhaps? Well thinking of how my life ended up like this. My parents abusing me with no regrets or a care in the world and then how they left me with only a little bit of food and water to suffer, with the Titans as well.
I got up off the ground to retrieve a piece of food that I could manage to find in this shitty cottage of "mine". And then went to sit back down in the corner. Dagger back on my lap. Why did my parents hate me so much? I thought to myself. Is it because of what I am? Maybe I mean I am strange..... I trailed off on my thoughts. I then feel sleepy so I sit there still in the corner. Slowly falling asleep, until I actually do. Crying in my sleep silently.
Levis Pov
I was preparing for the expedition we were going to have today. Strapping the straps of the 3d maneuver gear to my liking and left my room to go eat lunch. When I got there shitty glasses was rambling about some stupid experiments that she's done with Jaeger(please tell me if I spelled Eren's last name wrong!). "OH OH!! SHORTY!" "I found some mo-" shitty glasses was going to continue until I cut her off. "Shitty glasses I do not care about what you have learned about Jaeger. And DON'T call me SHORTY!!" I yelled the last part with a tick mark forming on my head. "Ok ok! Jeez Levi, you can be so grouchy, Hanji said." I rolled my eyes and sat down across from Erwin, and drank my tea.
After every one was done eating, we all got saddled up and waited behind the gate waiting for it to open. I glance around me and notice almost everyone scared shitless. Tch. If they want to survive then they need to focuses instead of worrying. I mean yah I'm scared to be honest but this is what it's going to always be like in the survey corps. I then notice Erwin trotting off so I follow his lead and lead my squad straight forward through the woods. Following the plans.

Reader Pov
Levi and his squad where heading back to the wall when they saw a cottage. Everyone was wondering if there were any survivors, so they all trotted there horses to the run down cottage to take a look.
Levis Pov
We all got off our horses and tied them up to the trees. I started to walk towards the cottage everyone following me close behind. No one making a sudden sound. I turn to my squad. "Tch. You guys go back to the wall and tell Erwin I will be back later," I say calmly. My squad listens to me hesitantly watching me walk up to the door, and then getting back on there horses ridding off to the wall. I then open the door slightly and then fully. Making a slightly loud creaky noise.
(Y/n)'s Pov
I was sound asleep still until I herd the door slightly open. I look up to see a middle aged man probably in his 30's(I don't know what his age is). He cautiously and slowly walks in looking around. I then stand up with my dagger in hand and try tiptoeing to hide somewhere when I accidentally step on a creaky floor board. Causing the guy to pull out two swords, now looking around more. And making me go as white as a ghost.
Levis Pov
*creak* when I herd that sound I took out my two swords and started looking around more. Because I know that someone's here now, because I would know if it was an animal. After 5 seconds later i see a little girl who looks no more than 5 years old. Scared and as white as a ghost standing in the corner of the room. I take a step closer to the little girl putting my swords away in the process, but she just backs up against the wall and starts shaking like crazy. A dagger in her hand pointing straight at me. I'm about to speak until she interrupts me saying to back off.
(Y/n)'s Pov
The guy opened his mouth going to say some thing until I cut him off. "BACK AWAY!" I yell scared out of my wits, and try keeping my dagger in place from all my shaking. "Tch. Brat I'm not going to hurt you so put the dagger down," the guy said in the most demanding ton I've herd. Well besides from my parents but his voice was still scary and might I add cold. "N-No," I stutter. Which I'm not very proud of. *sigh* the guy sighs and starts walking towards me again.
When he got to close to me I tried slashing my dagger at him.(key word tried). But instead of me hitting him, he moved out of the way in time and grabbed my dagger throwing it some where in the room.
Levis Pov
I grabbed the dagger out of her small little hands and try grabbing her arms to calm her down a bit so I can take her with me because I don't think she has parents, because just by looking around this filthy cottage you could easily guess that.But instead when I put my hand out to grab her she just move back against the wall even more. So I reach out to her again, but this time I'm irritated that she won't trust me. And I mean I know I'm a stranger to her but I would at least expect her to notice the wings of freedom symbol on my jacket.
Luckily I got a good grip on her this time. So I pull her out of the corner gently, so I don't accidentally break her arm do to how skinny she is and, then I pick her up and put her over my shoulder. And walk out of this filthy cottage, while ignoring her struggle to get free.
(Y/n)'s Pov
The guy picked me up and put me over his shoulder and walked out of the cottage to who knows where. I start to struggle to get free but it's no use. So I eventually stop and start to fall asleep. But before I'm fully asleep I see that were on a horses heading towards the wall. And I quietly say no, because I don't want to go to any place new. But all my thoughts soon disappear when I fall asleep.
Levi's Pov
No. Is what I heard from the little girl before falling asleep. I wonder what that was about. Well what ever it is I hope it's not some thing bad. WAIT WHAT!!? NO NO, Levi why are you concerned she's not yours and why should you care, I tell myself in my head over and over again. But something in me disagrees with what I'm saying. Because for some reason all of a sudden I feel attached to her. "Tch. Look what you did to me," I whisper quietly as I get to the gate going through and putting my horse back, then entering the HQ with her still on my shoulder. "Yah little brat."
