(Y/n)'s Pov
It's been two weeks since I was here and I have been helping Hanji with her wired experiments. I've been keeping Erwin company, just sitting in his office in a chair drawing or reading right next to him. You might think that a 5 year old kid would want to talk, for keeping someone company. But no. I'm not the loud type really. Besides I don't want to irritate him, and it's not like anything needs to be said. It's nice when it's quite and calm. And then when I'm with my father Levi, I help him do paper work and clean the office when dust happens to land in places. But when I'm not doing that I sit right beside him doing the usual. Reading or drawing. But of course we talk about things to. Just not all the time though, but we both like it that way.
So right now I'm walking to lunch, to eat and see Levi. Once I get there Hanji hops out of her seat and runs toward me yelling as usual. "(Y/n)!! (Y/n)!! Come sit and eat!" Hanji shouts grabbing my arm in the process, and dragging me to the table where commander Erwin, squad leader Hanji and squad leader Levi (my father) are sitting. "Ummmm, Hanji? I was going over to eat with you guys, you don't have to drag me over there." I say in my quiet voice, trying not to sound rude. "Ohhhh! Sorry (y/n)!" Hanji said. Hanji let go of my arm but stayed by my side still, as if we have been friends for years. Which I don't mind of course, in fact I like it. It makes me feel loved and wanted. I walked over to the table and sat down next to Levi. "Hi dad." I said to Levi. "Hi sweetie, how was your morning?" My dad asked, with his stoic face which kind of hurt, but I know that he does it so the others won't bother him. Mainly Hanji though. And besides even if he has that look on his face I can still see the kindness and love in his eyes. So I smiled, a small smile said, "yes father, thanks for asking" and then got up to eat some food, then eating the food slowly. Munching on the stale bread and then scooping up the dry baked potato eating the insides of it. When I finished I cleaned up knowing that if I didn't Levi would get upset or disappointed with me.
When that's all done, I get up to leave. But when I was reaching the door, it swung open. And my heart nearly stopped. My old parents, if you could even call them that where standing in the door way with those stupid smiles on there faces. I just stood there, with a blank face staring at them. Until I was snapped out of my thoughts. "Oh sweetie! We found you! We were looking all over for you." They said with there fake smiles and sicking voices. My "mom" went to grab my arm, but I moved quickly and started running to Levi. "Levi!!" I screamed, causing every one in the area to now look at me running toward Levi in a panic, and my parents following behind, catching up quicker than I would like. Levi then turned around and widened his eyes seeing me running away from those monsters I called parents.
Levis Pov
I was sipping on my cup of tea when I heard my name being called. No, being shouted actually. So I turned around about to scolded who ever was shouting for me with out even saluting. But what I saw scarred me, and my eyes widened. My little angle was being chasing around by strangers. "Levi!!" (Y/n) called again. I shot up and ran to my angle and scooped her up in my arms hugging her tightly to my chest. (Y/n) started quietly crying in my chest, making my shirt wet. But I didn't care. I glared dangerously towards the two people in front of me. "Who are you people and what do you want with my daughter?" I said in a very low and dangerous voice and if looks could kill. These fuckers would be more than 6 feet under the ground in pieces. They then gulped and the color from there faces were gone. Just white, like a ghost. Good, no one messes with my little angel for any reason.
They then started talking. "U-umm, well that's a-are daughter! A-and s-she ran a-away from us." I was shocked that these people where (y/n)'s parents but I didn't show it. But then I realized that these are the basters that abused and left my little (y/n) to die all alone. I then shouted at them. "NO! YOU ARE NOT HER PARENTS BECAUSE YOU ABUSED AND LEFT HER TO DIE!!" I shouted. Everyone jumped in there seat, a little startled about my sudden out burst. I calmed down a little and then spoke again before they did. "Leave!" I hissed at them. Then (y/n)'s "parents" scrambled away in panic, not giving another glance back at me or others. *sniffle* oh yeah (y/n) was still in my arms. "Shhh it's ok, it's ok." I soothed rubbing (y/n)'s back in a loving way. "T-thank you L-Levi," she quietly said, still crying slightly. In my response, I hugged her telling her how much I loved her. But then just to ruin the moment, every body who I forgot we're watching started saying " aww, so cute" or " yeah you teach those basters corporal". Even Erwin had a small smile on his face. I just clicked my tongue and walked away to my office. When I got there (y/n) was fast asleep so I put her in my bed, kissed her check and said, goodnight to my little angle. Then leaving to do paper work, but leaving the door slightly open so I can make sure she's ok.
