(Y/n)'s Pov
I was walking down the halls of the HQ, looking for my father, because.....well I was going to see if I could spend some time with him. You know because he's my new father and I would like to get to know him better anyway. I continue walking down the long halls, until I see my fathers office. Once I found it I knocked on the door, so I don't make him upset for just barging in on him like that. I herd a muffled, state your name and business. "U-ummm, father it's me I was just coming to see if I could spend time with you today," I said. "Oh well...if that's alright with you that is?" I say as my response. "Come in," Levi said. And so I did.
When I opened the door, Levi looked up from his papers but then looked back down and continued writing, not saying anything as in seeing if I was going to say anything. I just stud there for a bit, just spacing off for some reason but getting back to my scenes and asking the question that's been itching to come out, since the past few minutes. "Father?" Hmmmm, was Levi's answer although in a caring way. "Ummm father I was wondering if you and I could spend some time with you today, like maybe read a story or something?" Hhhmmmm.... Levi then looked like he was in deep thought, thinking about the question I asked very carefully. After awhile of waiting he finally gave me my answer. "Sure thing sweetie," Levi said. I smiled and walked over to Levi and he picked me up putting me on his lap and bringing out a book in the process. The book was called "What once was"(making up book name, not sure if it's a real title for a book). Levi then started reading the book, and half way through I began to get sleepy. My eyes slowly fluttering closed.
Until I was fully asleep.
Levi's Pov
I was reading the book "What once was" until my little angel fell asleep on my lap and in my arms. I quietly and carefully lean forward to my desk more to put the book down and bring (y/n) to my room to sleep. Getting up off the chair I hold her close to my chest feeling happy to know I now have someone to love even if they weren't originally mine at first. When I got to my room I open the door going in and putting my sleeping angel on the bed to rest, pulling the clean bed sheets over her small little 5 year old body. Then leaving the room to do paper work. I then got really tired after 2 more hours of doing paper work, although sadly I have to keep doing the paper work know matter how much the universe wants me to sleep for the night.
*whimper* huh? What was that? I hear, what sounds like whimpering but just brush it off. *whimper* there It is again. So I go and investigate. The sounds happen to be coming for my room so I open my room door and see something so weird. THE STUFF IN MY ROOM ARE FLOATING!! Like in mid air!! "How is it doing that" I whisper. But then I hear another whimper and see (y/n) shaking and silently crying, snuggling into the sheets as if to feel better. So she must be doing all of this. Oh gosh why didn't she tell me! I quickly but quietly make my way over to the little(h/l), (h/c) haired girl, pulling the covers up and getting in the bed next to her. Putting my arms around her whimpering and shaking form protectively, making her tense in her sleep at first but then relax and snuggle into me more. The objects that are in the room then go back to the way they were before and leave nothing out of place. I still love (y/n) dearly though. But I don't see why she didn't tell me about this. I mean like when was she going to tell me? In fact was she going to tell me at all? *sigh* oh well I guess I'll ask her tomorrow.oh....shit..I forgot about the paper work. Damn.
