Adeline POV
"Yoongi, you owe me a cookie!" Yoongi cheekily smiled as he finished my chocolate chip cookie. "Yeah yeah whatever." I continued to sip on my latté as Yoongi stared around. He died his hair blonde which really suits him. He had such a pretty face, it was unfair.
We were at a little cafe on a busy Tuesday, which had a natural caramel scent to it. Many people from ages ranging from toddlers to old grannies and grandpas enetering and exiting with a warm beverage in their hands. I enjoyed the sight of the various of people and the one person who I enjoyed to look at the most was the person in front of me. The metallic table reflected in the sunlight giving Yoongi a natural sun glow on his sugar skin.
I leaned my face on my palm as I blew some air out of my mouth seeing Yoongi smile at his phone. "What are you smiling at?" He looked up from his phone, locking his dark chocolate orbs with mine. "Oh Jungkook send me a meme, he's such a dork." He smiled at me as I felt a little weird about him being mentioned. I faked a giggle as I picked up my Luke warm latté and took a large sip, nearly choking.
"You ready to go?" I looked at Yoongi who was ready to stand up, holding his chair handles. I nodded standing up and taking my jacket from my chair. I tucked my chair in and caught up with Yoongi, who slowly began to walk towards our rented bikes. We didn't want to walk but we didn't want to use the subways and so the perfect solution was biking.
"I enjoyed today. Thank you for paying. I'll pay next time." He waved me off showing me his gummy smile. "No problem Adeline. I hope to see you more." I nodded and began to bike home.
(At home)
"Ahh Clarry he's so perfect! I hope our friendship lasts forever!" Clarry snuggled in my lap and meowed in response. We were watching Spongebob and I was eating some fruits. I would occasionally giggle at Spongebobs happiness and beautiful attitude.
Out of nowhere, my phone rang. I picked it up from the coffee table and answered it. "Hello?" I held shuffling and heavy breathing. "Oh Adeline.Hello!" Jungkooks happy voice called. "What's up?" I was kind of confused why he called me. Yeah I gave him my number but I didn't expect him to actually use it. "Well, I heard that you had a nice day with Yoongi today." His smooth voice said. I smiled a little at his child like tone to his voice.
I awkwardly hummed in response waiting for him to continue. "Well me and Tae are going to the mall on Friday and we were wondering if you wanted to come with us?" I was now even more confused. "Um sure." I answered. "Okay, see you there Noona." The way he said Noona made me feel some type of way but I shrugged it off. He cut and I sighed.
What was he up to? I didn't mind building new friendships. I actually really like having friends. I guess we could build a strong friendship. I felt sleepy and so I went to bed. Obviously, I fed Clarry before and did what you do before you go to bed.
The moonlight shone directly at me and my bed making it look magical. "I feel like I am in a movie." I giggled at myself and I slowly slipped into bed not forgetting to wear my satin bonnet.
"What a nice day it was."
