Liza Koshy

The following morning, I woke up slowly looking around. I noticed I was still in my clothes from last night, and my makeup from last night was now smeared all over the furniture. At first, I was slightly confused, but then the burning smell coming from the kitchen distracted me.

I looked over and saw Gabbie hard at work, trying her best to cook up eggs. Although, she ultimately failed, usually because when it was her turn to cook she's just order pizza because she had no idea how to. Gabbie saw me, and smiled.

"Well, I uh tried my best. Now you see why I never want to cook Liza." Gabbie chuckled as I joined in with her, and she threw away the egg. "Oh screw this, I'm just gonna order some breakfast pizza." Gabbie said to herself, as she pulled her phone out and began to order.

I chuckled as Gabbie ordered the pizza and sat back down beside me. "Look, I'm sorry I didn't pick up any of your calls last night. I feel the absolute worst. Everything about last night was just so crazy, and I didn't get home til like 4 in the morning-"

"Gabbie it's completely fine. I promise, I totally get it. Last night was crazy for the both of us trust me, a load of bull crap happened." Liza sighed and nervously danced her fingers together.

"You sure you're okay with me completely missing out on the phone call, I was promising you on?" Gabbie frowned softly, as I responded with a smile. "Of course, you were probably out partying too. If anything, you were probably really drunk anyway." I joked as Gabbie softly chuckled too.

"You aren't even wrong either, better yet, you're exactly right. Last night, I totally went out partying, with this really cute guy I just met." Gabbie blushed to herself looking down. "But enough about me Liza, I'm dying to know what happened last night with you!"

"Oh heck no, Gabbie I'm always the one telling a story. It's time I give you shot, and let you tell a story of your own!" I Immediately, responded to Gabbie sassily.

"Oh whatever, fine. It's not even that interesting anyway, he's a cute boy named Zane. I went out at the bar, at like 1-2 am last night and he was there. We weren't exactly drunk yet, but we were pretty close to it. We even exchanged numbers after talking for a while. Then we found ourselves, dancing drunkenly together in the middle of the beer. And wellp, things picked up pretty quick from there. He took me upstairs of the bar, to this random closed area, that was apart of the bar. And, yeah I guess we sort of a hooked up. Afterward, I came home late last night sorta sober, sorta drunk, with a paper that has his number written on it." The name sounded familiar. But I slightly brushed it off, and continued the conversation.

I gasped dramatically, causing a little giggle to come out of Gabbie. "So you basically hooked up with this guy the night you met him, and then you got his number?!" I asked in shock as she nodded and I smiled softly, and became calmer.

"Well, as long as you're happy and you don't think he's a fuck boy, than I'm happy for you." I agreed with Gabbie, as she heart-fully put her arm around my shoulder.

"Oh! that almost reminds me, I forgot to tell you something. So you're probably wondering how in God's name did you end up on this couch, I'm guessing?" Gabbie asked me, as I nodded in response.

"Well, last night, a couple minutes after I came home completely still drunk, probably almost sober though, I heard someone barging in the house. And you know, I was super drunk and shit, so I started to freak out thinking it was like an alien or some shit like that, and I grabbed the knife I kept under my bed-"

"Gabbie before you continue this story, why in god's name do you keep a knife under your bed?" I asked oddly, laughing at her stupidity.

"Girl, you never know when there could be an intruder in the middle of the night and you accidentally forgot to lock your door while you were sleeping." I laughed at Gabbie as she sassed at me. "Now anyway, back to the totally amazing story." Gabbie interrupted my laughter.

"I began to slowly come out of my room with the knife clenched in my hand, out of fear, ya know. And when I peak behind the living rooms wall, I see an all black dude standing over something super tiny. I figure he got you inside my by carrying you or some shit like that. But my first thought was like, 'oh shit, it's an alien' but right as I'm about to go over and stab the son of a bitch, I see it's actually that David guy you showed me a picture of. He leaned over, and legit kissed you on the forehead. I don't even think he realized it! Then he just walked away like that. And I was honestly shook as fuck." Gabbie said as I felt my cheeks burning red and I looked down.

"So you're saying he carried me inside, then you saw him and accused him for an alien with your butter knife, and as you were about to go over and attack him you realized it was David and then he bent down and kissed me on the forehead without knowledge of doing so?!" I say in shock as I was crazy red.

"Yep, that's exactly what I said." Gabbie said in agreement. My cheeks flushed in an even darker red. "Awe, Liza! You're so red right now." Gabbie teased as I slightly smiled and looked down.

"What I don't understand is why he just didn't wake me up instead of carrying me." I say as Gabbie smirked and began to get up from off the couch.

"Maybe because he likes you, obviously!" Gabbie laughed and nudged me with a smirk, as I rolled my eyes playfully and nudged her right back.

"Oh whatever Gab, how would you know anyway?" I asked her. "Well first of all, he was looking at you as if you were the god damn world, second of all I mean he could've obviously woke you up but he didn't and instead he carried you inside, and third of all, I mean he kissed your forehead without even realizing! I mean, I may be hella single despite that guy, but that has given me an advantage on being hella observant with other couples." Gabbie explained to me.

My heart skipped a beat. Was Gabbie right, Or was he simply just being friendly? Either way, if I'm being quite honest, I have no idea how to feel about this. I mean, apart of me is feeling so warm and fuzzy, the other part of me is just so confused. Ugh. I hate having these two-sided feelings.

"I don't know Gabs, I don't know if that's true and if it is, I don't even know if I feel the same way." I admitted and shrugged as Gabbie came back over and sat by my side. "No girl, you take your time. You need to think about your feelings before you decide how you truly feel. In the mean time, I would text him as much as you can, and try to decide by doing that." Gabbie told me as I smiled slightly. How'd I get so lucky to have her?

"Thanks Gab." I smile at her as she hugged me with one arm. "No problem Liza." She smiled as the doorbell ring. "Hell yes! That must be pizza!!" She said with excitement, as she ran to the door and I chuckled to myself a bit.

i'm almost finished writing the entire ideas for this story:/. obviously it's not ending for a while no, but the ending is gonna be here soon still:/. however, i left enough room at the end for a sequel. so i might write a second book based on this one. (:
