David Dobrik

Driving down the road, there was dead silence. All you could hear, was the sound of the quiet night, as well as a couple cars passing by. I glanced over at Liza, over and over. However, every time I seemed to look over her head was still tilted on the window and her eyes were fixed outside of it.

Seeing Liza like this, for the second time, made my heart break. It's like having perfect sunny days all the time, but it's interrupted with a rainy day. It comes out of nowhere, it not only upsets sunny day but it upsets you yourself too. That's what I feel like right now with Liza like this.

However, I had the perfect plan. I knew exactly where to take her. It'd make her think one thing, but then I'd completely change it into something else. It's a good thing, of course.

We drove down the road for a while longer, in complete silence. She still had her head leaned on the window, and still looked out of it gazing with poor sad and red eyes.

I sighed to myself, as we finally arrived at the place I had planned on taking her and in full on hopes that it would make her feel better. I parked and began unbuckling as she lifted her head up to notice where we were at.

"David, why are we at Chipotle?" She asked, in a raspy voice from all the crying that had happened and I turned back to face her. I could feel my heart skip a beat, as I met those eyes.

"I wanted to take you back to the first place we met... I just thought I could help a little to by making you some good old Chipotle." I softly grinned, as she slightly did too.

"Chipotle actually sounds really good right now..." Liza said sniffling and wiping off stuff from under her eye.

I opened the door for her as we got out of the car. She seemed to be doing better already. I loved making her feel better. It makes me so happy to see her recover well, especially since all of those tears that had come earlier that night.

We silently, walked inside together as I unlocked the locked doors as well. I went behind the counter and began making food for Liza. I glanced up at her a couple times as she silently waited for the Chipotle I was making her.

Eventually, after about 15 minutes I had her Chipotle made. I handed her the wrapped burrito, and sat across from her as she looked up at me, and slowly a small yet adorable smiled sprawled across her face.

"You really didn't have to do this for me David, you could've just taken me home and I would've been fine." Lizas smile disappeared as she looked down with guilt and a bit of frustration. "You didn't even tell me that my ex was gonna be there David." Liza said getting a little worked up, and beginning to sound a bit angry.

"Liza, believe me when I say this, I had no clue that your ex was gonna be there, and if I did know I would've told you and we wouldn't have gone." My eye's softened a little bit as I told her all of what I know.

"Are you sure David? Do you promise to me, that you're not lying to me whatsoever?" Liza sighed and looked up into my eyes, as I responded with a nod.

"I promise Liza, this was all just a misunderstanding. I'm sorry I took you without the slightest clue of who was gonna be there." I responded, with a small frown appearing on my face.
