There weren't that many sounds besides the crunch of leaves, assorted bugs, and Patrick's occasional giggle. [Name] wasn't sure why he would giggle, but she didn't really feel like asking. Not that she even cared that much. Rather than shining his flashlight out in front of him, he faced it at his feet. He knew exactly where he was going.

"Are we there yet?",[Name] asked. Her feet were burning from walking for that distance at night. She wasn't used to walking so much. "Yup", he answered. He stopped at the edge of a little cliff. He walked to it and sat down, dangling his legs over the side. He motioned for her to come and sit next to him. The water below had made her anxious. She really didn't want to fall into that. There was no doubt that she'd survive the fall, but she'd be pissed if she had to walk home in drenched clothing. She shook her head no. "Really? We walked all the way out here for you to pout?", he mocked, still motioning for her to go over. "Don't make me come over there", he said smiling. He didn't mean it in a threatening tone. "No way man.", She backed up, "I don't trust you", she let a small smile spread across her lips. He stood up from where he was and ran towards her. He jokingly picked her up from the waist and she laughed and screamed. He walked her over to the edge. "Don't you dare do it! I'll never forgive you!", [Name] yelled through laughs. "Don't do what?" he asked, smiling, "This?", he let go of [Name] over the edge. She screamed and flailed as she fell into the water.

Once she had hit the water, she popped her head up and looked up at the cliff. Patrick was laughing hysterically. "Fuck you!", she jokingly yelled. "What was that you said? You need help?", he said, holding his hand up to his ear. "No!", she yelled back. "Don't worry, I'll save you!", he laughed and took his sweatshirt off. Underneath he had a plain black shirt on. He backed up and took a running start. Once he jumped off the edge, he dove perfectly into the water. After a few seconds, his head broke the surface of the water. He smoothed his hair back and laughed. "Where'd you learn to do that?" she asked, slightly impressed. "I don't know, I just of knew how to do it" he said back, "So, where was I? Oh right! You were drowning", he said with a smile. "I never said that!", she said, giggling. He began to swim towards her and she swam away. She sunk herself underwater and pulled her sweatshirt off quickly to avoid the extra drag. Underneath she was wearing a maroon colored shirt. It was a regular large tee. While still underwater, she took her sweatshirt and wrapped it around her waist, as to not lose it. She came back above water to catch her breath, and just as she was about to swim away, Patrick caught up to her. He wrapped his arm around her side, "Oh no, looks like you're going to need CPR", he said jokingly. She started laughing and so did he. [Name] decided that this was one of the best nights of her life. She felt truly free.

I started to post chapters at night rather than the afternoon. If that doesn't work for anyone, just tell me and I could go back to regular posting. I've now started to to post when I finish writing a chapter so that you don't have to wait.
