[Name]'s breathing was shallow. She made no movements, Patrick was way too close for that. He was practically pressed against her. "Who are you here with?", he asked, not moving one bit. "Just my friends...look, we agreed to meet tomorrow...just let me have today to myself...", [Name] practically whispered. He tightened his grip on her waist, "We're both here now, why wait until tomorrow", he said. [Name] decided it was a bad idea to ask him to move. The bartender put the 2 Cokes on the bar. She flashed a strange look at the two teenagers. Patrick stared into the bartender's eyes, and even maybe her soul. She knew not to look back. "Patrick, I ordered a Coke for Richie. Can I give it to him? I promise I'll be right back", she said. "Is he your boyfriend?", Patrick asked. He sounded pissed. She didn't answer. He finally let go of her.

[Name] spun around, "I'm not dating him by the way. I don't even know why I have to check in with you". "Because I asked", Patrick told her. [Name] grabbed her 2 Cokes quickly and roller skated right to the entrance of the rink. "Hey Richie! I got your coke!", [Name] yelled to him. "Just hand it to me here. They'll never notice"  Richie answered back, referring to the people skating around that made sure no one got hurt. "Just come here", [Name] said. Richie nonchalantly skated off the rink, "You okay, hot stuff?". [Name] pointed her head in the direction of Patrick. He was staring directly at them. "He's been following me, asking me to show him something so he can get to know  me. He told me that he chose me", she whispered. "Oh shit,", Richie pushed his glasses up, that meant he was nervous, "Uh, you're screwed. What he meant by 'chose you', is that he's interested, and if you ask me, don't get involved.". She made a confused look, "What kind of interested?", she asked. "Well I mean anyone with eyes can see you're hot", she pushed him lightly, he laughed, "I don't know man. 'Chose' means different things but I think he's...um...what's the word? Infatuated, that's it.", he added. Patrick stood up, "Gotta go [Name], good luck", Richie said quickly. He skated away. Patrick neared her again. Patrick took the coke right out her hands and took a sip. "Great, I paid for that", she said sarcastically. He handed the coke back to her, she stared down at the rim of the straw. Patrick watched as she stared. "I gotta go, my friends are waiting". "I'll skate with you then", he obviously didn't get the hint. She began to skate back to the rink. Patrick followed her uncomfortably behind. She tensed up.

The Losers began to skate away from her. Patrick was so close to her that they didn't want to go near her. They were terrified, and who could blame them? Patrick had tried to set them on fire, and that's a valid reason to be terrified of a person. [Name] was lost deep in thought when a kid zoomed past her and smacked her straight in the arm that was bruised. She went spiralling backwards, when Patrick caught her. One hand on her back, and the other one around her arm. He grinned in that disturbing way he did all the time. He slid his hand down her back. Before he reached her lower back, she rolled out of his grip. "Fucking pervert!!", she yelled. She was tired of Bowers and his dumb fucking gang trying to feel her up. A few people on the rink stopped at that moment and stared at Patrick. It was clear in Patrick's eyes that he didn't even care. The judging stares meant nothing to him. [Name] stared up, pissed at him. He shrugged, "I wasn't going to hurt you", he said. "Yeah, I got that, but you were clearly reaching for my ass", she said angrily, finally standing up again. "So what if I was", he said. [Name] simply stared at him. "Just don't touch me. Whatever, if you want to follow me around, I don't care, just keep your hands off me", she said. He laughed. She knew he wouldn't hurt her, he had certainly hurt people in the past, but something was different about [Name]. Patrick didn't want to hurt her. He actually liked being at her side.

I can't believe I almost have 1000 reads!! I'm so happy, honestly I didn't think that many people would be interested. Any ideas on how you want Patrick to act in he next chapter? Like romantic, intimidating, both? Idk
