[Name] smiled. She was actually excited for today now. She had only been roller skating 3 or 4 times, and she enjoyed it everytime. She wasn't that good at it, but she would go anyway. [Name] believed that fate itself pushed Eddie into her. Finally, she'd make some friends. Some much needed friends.

[Name] arrived home. She knocked on the door but no one was there. She sighed and pulled the keys out of her pocket. She had forgotten that her parents were out today. It was a Friday, the day they went out for some time together. [Name] couldn't complain though, she was happy her parents weren't fighting anymore. Last year, they fought all the time, and maybe that's why she almost failed. She slid the key into the lock and twisted. The door pushed open and she went inside. She dropped her backpack in the hallway rather than bringing it to her room. [Name] sprinted into her bedroom to grab some money. She quickly took 30 dollars off her desk. She always laid money our for herself incase something like this happened. She slipped her money and keys into the back pocket of her jeans. Quickly she ran pack into the kitchen to write her parents a letter. It simply stated that she was going roller skating and that she'd be home in a few hours. [Name] read over her note and smiled. She was still surprised she was invited somewhere.

She put the note down and walked out the door, making sure she locked it when she was outside. She turned around and froze in horror. Walking right to her house was Henry Bowers. His usual posse wasn't with him this time. His pace picked up and he neared the house, he got closer and closer. [Name]'s heart skipped a beat and she began to walk away from her home, pretending she hadn't seen him. She heard him laughing in the distance. She began to jog and eventually began running. Henry though, had been very athletic. He caught up to her with ease.

"What's this?",Henry asked, slowly reaching into her back pocket. She swatted his hand away. "It's nothing Bowers. Leave me alone", [Name] said, with as much courage as she could muster. This was not much. "I just want to know who you're doing now. Does your mother know?", Henry said. She was horrified. She'd never even had a boyfriend. [Name] placed her hand on her back pocket. "I'm not doing anyone. I'm just going out", she said. "Yeah, okay. Little miss lonely is finally leaving her house, bet she's real tired of being alone. And look at that, I'm available right now.", Henry said. This isn't happening. It's not possible. She was petrified. [Name] turned around, she just wanted to leave. "Not so fast,", he said, gripping her arm tightly, "You're not going anywhere until I'm done with you.", he said through his teeth. [Name] panicked and did the first thing that came to mind. She swung her other arm over and dug her nails into Henry's arm. He started to bleed. Quickly he let go of her arm, "Motherfucker!!", he screamed. [Name] ran as far as she could. She looked back and Henry was still on the side of the road, clutching his injured arm. On adrenaline only, [Name] ran the entire distance to the rink. The run room about 10 minutes at the pace she was going.

Inside the glass doors of the rink, [Name] could see the Losers. Eddie turned around and waved at her, but his expression quickly changed. She entered the large glass double doors "[Name], you look like you've seen a ghost!", he exclaimed. "Bowers", was all she said. Bill turned around. Bill had also had a few classes with her. She felt bad for him since the teacher often picked him to read passages. He could never get the words out correctly because of his stutter. "W-what did that asshole d-do to you. A-are you okay?", he asked her. "Yeah, I'm fine, thanks for asking", she let out a weak smile. "Let's just pay and forget about it." The Losers nodded sympathetically.

[Name] was the last to pay. She reached into her pocket to take her money out, but the only thing she felt was her keys. She gasped, "Bowers stole my money!". "We've got it covered," Beverly handed the money over to the person behind the desk, "He's such an ass." [Name] felt so comfortable with the Losers. She'd barely even hung out with them, but here they all were, helping her. They all got sized for roller skates and were on the rink in no time. [Name] slowly rolled onto the rink and let out a laugh. Richie followed next, then Bev, Bill, Mike, Stan, and Ben skated on in that order. Eddie stayed off to put his knee pads on.

After skating around, [Name] got quite thirsty. "Hey guys I'm gonna go get a soda, be right back!", [Name] yelled to her new friends. "Get me one too!", Richie answered back. She nodded and skated over to the little bar to order 2 Cokes when she felt two slender hands grab her waist. Her eyes widened so much, they doubled in size. She knew who's hands those were. Those were Patrick's. He leaned over so that she felt his breathing on her ear. "What a nice surprise, you're here too", he whispered. [Name] felt a lump of fear clog her throat. She was trapped.

Sorry Patrick isn't in the chapter much, if it upset you, you'll like the next one. Do you guys like the idea of [Name] hanging out with the Losers? I thought it added more character to the story
