"I don't know what's wrong with you, you must be blocking it out or something! I fucking hear it and so do you!", [Name] screamed. "Calm the fuck down! You're drunk!", he yelled back. The bangs stopped.[Name] stared into the halls of the sewer. "We need to get out of here we need to leave right now", she panicked. Her heart rate increased and she began to feel herself hyperventilate. "Shh, stop it", he put his index finger to her lip. She stopped, but her shoulders still rose and fell with every breath.
"I'll go look for it and prove to you that there's nothing there", Patrick said, standing up. "No! No you're not going anywhere!", she tugged at his pants leg. "Hey, hey chill out. You're gonna pull my pants down", he said, prying her hands off. "Then stay here", [Name] said. Patrick sat back down and sighed. "Then you're never gonna know what was making that 'sound'", Patrick put little finger quotations around the word "sound". He figured that she was just simply buzzed and paranoid. Sometimes Bowers got like that. Usually he would ease his pain by beating the shit out of Victor. Typically, Patrick would just stay out of it.
"I guess it's none of our business what's making that banging noise...", [Name] said. "And I think you're right", Patrick said, rubbing his eyes. He yawned as [Name] watching him with judgey eyes. "I don't know how you're reacting like that when something out here could be getting ready to kill us", she said. "Well at least if I'm gonna die, it's gonna be with you", he said laying down, making sure to keep his hair out of the water. She shrugged, "I guess."
I actually keep forgetting that this story exists! It's kinda selfish of me holy shit. I'm going to set alarms or something to remind myself to keep posting. Thanks for believing in the story, putting up with my shit, and returning to read! And...should he die? I saw lots of comments about that...
