Patrick leaned against the brick wall with one leg supporting him on the wall, and the other one the ground. He crossed his arms. [Name] was sitting next to Eddie, her legs folded pretzel style. She was applying bandages to his burns, where the ashes had burned through his skin. Patrick was a little jealous of all the attention Eddie was receiving. Eddie looked up at Patrick, "I never thought I'd say this, but thank you", he held his inhaler up. Patrick simply nodded. [Name] raised her eyebrow at Patrick. "You're welcome" he said, rolling his eyes. 10 minutes ago, he was torturing this kid, and now he was stealing medical supplies for him. [Name] was really going to change him. He didn't know if he liked it or not. She stood up and pulled Eddie up too. His arms were covered in bandages. "My mom's gonna kill me", he said, "I think you're bad luck", he said jokingly. She let out a smile, "So I've been told". Patrick interrupted their little moment, "I still owe you breakfast", he said.

[Name] checked in with Eddie one last time before leaving him. His burn marks were all covered and his breathing was finally under control. She was now with Patrick, on her way to get breakfast. Today was so insane, and way more eventful than any of her days had ever been in the past. She rarely left her house before. It wasn't a matter of her not wanting to go out, it was just that she had no one to hang out with. She smiled up at Patrick who smiled back a little. Once again, that was a step forward. He was reacting to other human emotions. Yes, it would be extremely hard to teach Patrick how to function, but she had her mind set to it. He had potential to be such a great human, but he wasn't all there. It was half Patrick, and half void where his emotions should've been. "How'd you feel about helping Eddie back there?", she asked him. "It was different. I don't know", he shrugged. It was no surprise that'd he'd rather beat the shit out of Eddie. At least he held it in. Just then, [Name]'s parents car passed the two of them. She gasped, "My parents are on their way home!", she practically yelled. She started to run. "I'll meet you tomorrow!", she shouted back at Patrick. Who waved at her, despite being annoyed again.

[Name] took a short cut through the woods to get back home so she arrived exactly 5 minutes before her parents got home. She opened the door for them and gave them hugs. She decided to not even question their whereabouts, although she was a bit concerned for them, they'd ask her questions too. She quickly retreated to her room before her parents could even consider questioning her. Her notebooks were scattered on the floor, some open, some closed. Although a bit mad, she sighed a breath of relief. He hadn't found her real diary.

Sorry this chapter sucked, I was really tired last night so it isn't well written, I'll make up for it next chapter. I'm thinking of writing a story where the main character is friends with the Losers because honestly who doesn't want to be friends with them😂😂
