Panic

Darkness. That's all I see, I'm comforted by a warm figure beside me, as I snuggle into the soft cloth. I hint a smile until my body is jerked forward, and my head suddenly smashes against the dashboard, and I jolt awake. My head pounding terribly,  and a hot liquid trickling down the side of my temple, and I groan loudly. "FUCK- this is just what we needed,huh, fan-fucking-tastic", I hear a similar sarcastic voice say. I begin to regain my vision, a light grey dashboard with jet black leather seats, still in decent condition. I look over to my side and see an angered tom, that caused the car to stop once he slammed onto the breaks, was the car dead? That rose a grown from me to ask, but no words came out.

  He notices my awakened presence and sighs, calming down a bit,"Sorry to wake you, edd, but get the fuck out of the car" he demanded. My eyebrows furrowed with an attitude, I was fed up with his constant demanding, I open my mouth to say something but it lingered open.

  I looked to my side and jumped up, my heart racing harshly as another creature pounds onto the window, with a great amount of force. The glass breaks, a piece slicing my arm,'Just my luck, eh?' I scoffed to myself,wincing. I kick open the car door, grabbing a weapon hastily, from the backseat. Without hesitation, I swing the bat down, forcefully, against the strangers' skull as I hear a brutal cracking noise. My body tightens and I see a lying corspe on the ground, not looking any more alive than it was before. Tom, already out of the car now, grabbed a small hand-gun from the back and started shooting off the attackers one by one.

I watch in amazement, his shooting skills and aim were phenomenal, my face began heating up, and my mind couldn't stop thinking about him, right then and there. He turned to me, the gun aimed at my forehead, and my skin turns pale, blood running cold. My eyes welling up in tears as a mindless monster opens its jaws to bite into my shoulder. I notice this at the my last glance before a trigger was pulled and the dead man lie on the floor, I freeze unable to comprehend what has happened. He goes back to shooting as what I now recognized on a swarm of the dead.
